Chapter 19

Chases pov:

Overall I think stella's mom and brothers like me. Her dad is still a little tender but I think he'll like me. Today we are going to a ball that's having a moment of honor for stella's return to italy. I honestly don't know what the big deal is. She told me it was a banquet.

Stella started shifting around in the bed. She had a california king bed. It fit perfectly with the size of her oddly large bedroom. Her eyes shot open and she smiled.

"goodmorning baby." I grinned and her surprisingly good mood. "morning stella." "So I think we're gonna leave so I can get hair and makeup done then put my evening dress on. Wait what time is it?"

"uhh 1:30 pm." I was actually surprised that it was so late here already. "Oh shit we're gonna be late!"

She jumped out of the bed to wash her face and change into some different clothes.

Stellas pov:

Im kinda annoyed chase never woke me up but maybe he just woke up too? Hopefully. But anyways, chase has never been to a big ball event thing and I'm nervous.

Actually nervous is an understatement. I can trust him right? All he has to do is walk in behind my parents then sit at our table. He doesn't speak italian so he shouldn't talk to anyone.

At around 6:00 Im supposed to walk in down the big steps and wait for everyone to clap. At least that's what I was told.

time skip

It's now 5:45 and Chase is getting really antsy. I can tell because he keeps shaking and jumping up and down.

"Don't ruin your hair baby." I scolded him while he took in a deep breath. "I could say the same to you." I had my hair just simply curled but I had extensions in and we were running out of time so they are loose.

"Don't remind me." My parents came around the corner to get chase. "Oh my darling you look beautiful!" "Thank you mommy." I smiled and she kissed my cheek.

"Let's go son." My dad shook chases hand and they started walking. I had practiced a nice walk with chase but I don't think he grasped it very well.

My brothers walked behind them and each of them held a leash for my dog.

"Are you ready miss bianchi?" One of the guys were supposed to help me on the elevator to the other floor.

"Yes cmon." I waved him over and he grabbed the bottom of my dress. "Whenever you're ready."

I smiled and started slowly walking. We made it to the next floor and walked out. Now I have to walk down the steps without eating ass.

Trumpets and drums played for a second then it became silent. "Everyone please rise to welcome back our beloved stella rae bianchi."

I heard everyone stand up and the man at the top of the steps told me to start walking. I dropped my dress once it dangled over the first step. I grabbed the railing and began walking, putting on my best serious face.

I spotted chase and froze up. Go stella you can't do this now. I blinked a couple times and saw my mother wave me to hurry up. I started walking again and everyone started clapping and cheering as I made my way to the bottom.

My father pushed chase forward to come grab my hand. He bowed down like an idiot and grabbed my hand. He kissed it and we started walking to the table. Everyone sat and continued talking.

"What the hell was that chase?" I laughed. "I thought maybe I'd spice things up. And I also forgot what I was supposed to do."

Chases pov:

I didn't make a complete fool of myself but I was close. I thought I did pretty good. I smiled to myself and checked my phone as it vibrated in my pocket.

Messages:

Jaden: hey I have the ring😁😁

chase: oh thank god are you guys here? Im really nervous

Jaden: we're all here man coming through the front door rn

I was so nervous for this trip for one special reason.

I was gonna give stella a promise ring. Just because I've basically ruined her life enough and I want to promise her that I'll stay loyal and love her forever.

I want to show her parents that I really love her. I smiled and grabbed her hand. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." I kissed her and walked away.

Finding the guys is going to be really hard in this giant building. I face palmed myself and saw them waving me over. I lightly jogged over and saw them all with slicked back and puffy hair with suits on.

"We clean up nice right?" I laughed and grabbed the. box out of jadens hand. "Try and stay low and make your way to the stage. I can't let her see you or she'll know somethings up." They nodded and started walking against the wall while facing it.

They looked stupid and I thought she could probably see them from a mile away. I huffed and walked back to our table. "hey baby." She smiled and leaned her head on my shoulder.

After a while I saw the guys up at the front waiting patiently. I smiled and told her I was gonna get something to drink.

I met with the owner of the place because he's the only one who's giving me permission to do this. He ran up on stage and got everyone's attention.

"Could I please have stella rae come to the stage?" She blushed and started looking around nervously for me. I felt a little bad for leaving her but it's for a good cause.

She walked up on stage and smiled at everyone confused on what's happening. "I'd like to also welcome stellas american friends." She looked completely mind blow at his statement.

That's when Jaden walked out with 200 roses. Payton walked out with a giant bear. And the other guys followed behind them with cameras and other fancy flowers.

I thought she was about to cry right then. She didn't but then I walked out and she balled in front of everyone. "Stella, I want you in my life. We're in italy right now. Together. We haven't fought or disagreed on anything this week. I want your parents to know that I love you so much. I want to be with you forever. I know your brothers like me already." I winked and walked closer to her and grabbed her hand.

"Stella I promise to love you and to be loyal from here and on. Will you accept my promise ring?"

"YES!" her voice sounded hoarse but she screamed it as loud as possible. Everyone started clapping and she jumped into my arms.

I was so happy this went well. I looked over her shoulder and saw her dad with a miserable look on his face and he started walking towards the stage, leaving his wife behind. Stellas brothers started coming over as well and I was getting nervous.

a/n: im so sorry it took so long for me to update. school is really just getting on my nerves this year. all my teachers are annoying and i've cried about 4 times. i'll definitely update more often thank you guys! xoxo ❤️🥺
