Chapter 21

Stellas pov:

I struggled to run through the crowded room without tripping over my dress. If I'm going t be honest, I was freaking out. My boyfriend and my friends came here and I just put their lives in danger.

Chase was finding an exit for us all since the front door was flooded with people. He let go of my hand for a split second and I was lifted off the ground. My mouth was covered with something then smelt of chemicals. I tried to scream but ended up sucking in the towel. Everything went black.

Chases pov:

"Where did she go?" I shouted at the guys as I frantically looked around for Stella. I just got into a good relationship and now one of us is going to die. Once I got no answers, I started searching around the room. There looked to be thousands of people here.

I looked at the floor down at the floor and noticed dirty foot prints. They could belong to anyone in this room but I still decided to follow them. Once I made it to a small hallway they disappeared because it was carpet.

I made my way down the right side of the hallway yelling her name. I grabbed at every doorknob to find they were all locked. I heard someone calling my name from down the hallway and looked to see Gianni and Lorenzo.

"Guys I have no idea what's going on and I can't find Stella anywhere!" I was now on the verge of tears. They gave each other both a look and started explaining to me what was going on.

"So Chase, have you met Daniel?" I gave him a confused look. "Who's Daniel and what does he have to do with anything?" Lorenzo frowned before saying, "Danny? Stellas lover before you."

I nodded my head while our trio walked down the other end of the hallway. "His family has crashed the party with a distraction, which you saw. I think their plan was to get to you or Stella. Did you ever meet danny before?" "Yes actually and he was really rude. He's with my ex girlfrien-or uh lover as you call it."

They laughed. "Don't tell me she's the blond broad that was hitting on me." Gianni smirked at me as I nodded once more. I questioned him on what was so funny about a girl flirting with another man.

"Chase this is a talk for another time. Did you see where they took my sister?" I explained how I saw the foot prints and followed them. I walked right in between them as they directed me to the control room.

My phone started buzzing and I looked to see Jaden was calling me. "Yeah man did you find Stella?" I asked and he said he hadn't but he did see Danny watching from the corner of the ballroom.

I hung up after a short conversation. We made it to the control room and went to go look at the cameras. Of course the door was locked. I put my hands over my face and almost started crying. Lorenzo knocked down the door and pulled me inside.

"I hope you know how to do this Chase." I smiled remembering how I learned a couple things from my friends in America. When I looked at the panels through, everything was in Italian.

I walked them through what buttons to press and what things to click and eventually we found the footage. They kidnapped my girlfriend like some sort of action movie. Im never coming back to Italy after this.

We later found out where they had taken her and Jaden called to tell me they lost Danny. We all walked out to the ballroom again to find it deserted. It was a literal ghost town.

Balloons sat on the ground both popped and inflated. Plates covered the floor and clip on jewelry covered the tables. Gianni and Lorenzo said they were going to find their dad so he could help us.

I sat at a table and watched them walk out. When they were out of view someone in all black came up and locked the doors. "Hey stop!" I screamed through the glass. They walked away anyways.

The lights turned off and I heard shuffling from the front of the room. Once they were back on, my eyes were filled to the brim with tears.

Stella was laying on the stage holding her head. I yelled for her and she looked up. "Chase!" She screamed. She started sitting up as I ran to her. She jumped into my arms and she just started saying how sorry she was and how she didn't know any of this would happen.

I kissed her so passionately. We both pulled away when there was a loud noise of a door opening. Danny walked into the ballroom twirling a knife in his hand.

"Well well well Stella Rae what do we have here?" He laughed. "I tried to give you another chance babe. You should've taken it. "Fuck you." She spat at him. He then stuck the knife in the wall and proceeded to say, "Now that's not very nice is it."

Stella climbed up onto the stage, pulling me with her. She dragged me through the halls to find an exit or even a window we could leave out of. We saw the back door and sprinted to it.

"Shit it's locked!" At this point we ran out of ideas. We walked back into the ballroom to find Danny sitting on a table, waiting. "Ugh finally you guys are back. This shit gets so boring, so fast."

Stellas pov:

"What do you want from me?" I asked my wicked ex boyfriend.

"That's just it. I want you."
