Chapter 16

Stella's pov:

Today is thursday aka the day we all go back to LA. Im so excited for beauty con. I woke up in chases arms. I missed this feeling so much.

He started moving and eventually his eyes opened and in a raspy voice he said, "morning baby." "good morning sunshine!" I peeped out at him. "Are you all packed?" I frowned, "yes but I don't wanna leave."

I then smiled at him and got up to get in the shower. He started giggling when I got up. "stella you have no clothes on." I blushed and grabbed his shirt off the floor.

When I finished in the shower I got dressed and heard my phone go off in the other room. I went to go out there and forgot I had to brush and braid my hair before it dried to the curls would come out better.

After about 20 minutes I was somewhat satisfied with my hair and walked out of the bathroom to go on my phone. Chase sat in the corner not even looking up at me. I opened my phone to see it at messages between drayke and I.

Messages:

drayke:
hey bestfriend!!

stella:
hey

drayke:
you're coming back to la today right? cause I miss u sm

stella:
bro she doesn't like you stop texting her

drayke:
lmfao chase get off her phone

Stella's pov:

I can't believe chase really had to go in my phone and text drayke. Right when things were working out between us. "hey chase whatcha been up to?" I asked him without looking up. "nothing." That's it? Just nothing. He gets on my nerves.

I texted drayke back and explained what happened. And finally, I grabbed my things and headed to the airport. Leaving chase behind.

After the flight

Chases pov:

Stella left me in the hotel room. Then went to the airport without me. She sat in a completely different seat than me on the plane. I know I shouldn't have gone in her phone like that but drayke bothers me.

If stella is gonna be mine then drayke can't be in the picture. I tried making my way to her but she stormed through the airport. "hey baby wait up!" I shouted while jogging after her. I completely forgot about jaden and payton.

"What do you want?" she spat at me. "I thought we could go to the hotel maybe in the same uber this time." "I'm not staying at that hotel anymore." I was confused by what she said.

"Then where are you staying?"

"With drayke."

And with that she walked away.

Stella's pov:

I made the decision to stay with drayke. I have all my stuff with me and plus my house is only an hour away. I'll stay with drayke this weekend and go to beauty con with him. I'll still meet up with payton and jaden but they probably will bring chase.

Im gonna confront him. Just not this weekend. Im too busy and so many people are gonna be there. I can't have a bad reputation in front of all these high class beauty gurus.

Draykes pov:

I couldn't believe chase went in her phone like that. I rolled my eyes and continued driving to the airport. I was going to pick up stella and bring her back to my hotel. There's two beds so she'll be fine.

Of course stella is gorgeous. But, I've never thought of her more than my bestfriend. She's so positive around me and she helps me forget all my past romances that went to trash.

I trust her differently than other people. It's like I don't have to expect her to keep a secret cause I already know she will.

Finally I parked at the airport and walked into the exit for baggage claim. I stood there on my phone until I heard shouting from behind me.

"Drayke!!" I smiled as soon as I saw her. She was riding her skateboard through the airport, dodging around all the people. When she came close enough with her skateboard she jumped off and into my arms.

We both fell to the ground and behind her I saw jaden, payton, and chase. I got up and lifted stella afterwards. She pulled me into a hug and I laughed.

"I missed you stupid." she looked up at me. "I missed you too ugly."

All the guys surrounded us and chase cleared his throat to end are hug.

"Get over yourself chase." She let go of me. "How can I get over myself when my girlfriend is going crazy over another guy?" Wow this took a turn fast.

"You're the one who went in my phone and texted the guy I'm going 'so crazy' about!" She raised her voice. "Drayke isn't even into me you idiot! And I'm not into him! He respects that I'm in love with you and I respect that he likes other girls!

"You-you're in love with me?"

That's my bestfriend. So many people were crowded around us watching what was going down. I honestly was waiting for her to either kiss him or punch him. Instead she grabbed onto his waist and started sobbing.

"Why don't you trust me chase?"

Chases pov:

I was almost in tears at the airport. She's in love with me and I just trashed her like that. I didn't trust her and once again I've ruined things.

"I'm so sorry." She looked up at me and I wiped her tears. "I know you are baby and so am I."

Things were definitely going to be rough from now on but I think we can handle it...

a/n: I've realized that i need to stop writing half a chapter and then leaving it for a week. I find so many new ideas and when I go back to an unfinished chapter idk where I should take it. lmao school starts in 2 days and i'm sad. xoxo🥺
