Chapter 20

Chases pov:

"Daddy please. I really like him and I think you guys should give him a chance." Stella started at her father and brothers with fear in her eyes. I just stood there ready to be shot in the head by one of them.

"What kind of foolishness are you talking about Stella rae?" We we're both taken by surprise with the kindness he was showing us. Her brother Lorenzo was the most confused, while Gianni just laughed.

"I'm glad you've finally given her something to prove your trust son. I want to say congratulations and I'm so very happy for you to be closer to our family." I looked at her father dumbfounded. Did he really not want to kill me?

"Uh-um thank you sir!" I stuttered. I looked at Stella for advice and she was just staring at her brothers.

"How about we celebrate at the beach house dear?" Her mom came up to the stage finally. "That sounds wonderful honey."

I didn't know they had a beach house. I didn't even know her family was in the mafia! I turned to look at my beautiful girlfriend, wondering where this beach house was.

She pulled me away from everyone and started explaining. It was a little house in Hawaii. I was shocked at first but then I started to think about how the guys came all the way out here from America just for us to up and leave on them.

I felt a sloppy kiss on my cheek and was then snapped back into reality. I smiled at Stella and grabbed her hand. She guided me through the crowd and we all sat back down at the table.

People walked up to us to both congratulate us and ask for a picture. It was almost like they thought we were getting married. I laughed a little as the guys came over to our table.

"So how are the newly weds?" Jaden smirked as he looked us up and down. "All good here Jaden thanks." Stella turned her attention to the front entrance of the venue.

We all heard yelling and cussing. Then eventually came a gunshot. Everyone was screaming and running around like crazy. I ran next to Stella and the guys as she struggled to keep her dress up from underneath her feet.

I turned to find an exit somewhere and the next thing I knew, Stella was gone.

a/n: okay so obviously I have some explaining to do🤣 I said I was gonna update like a million years ago and I never did. Obviously since then chase moved into the hype house and started dating charli for a little and now they're broken up. i will for sure be updating more during corona cation. as always xoxo🧟‍♂️❤️
