One of the many things I love about her is her compassion, how kind she is, that even after she kept getting trampled on, she still loves with all her heart and wants to take care of someone.

But before I get into why I have to tell something else first.

She ended up getting sick again a few months later.

I called on a Thursday morning, all I heard was a steady cough.

I started to panic, I told her to text me instead of talking. She did what I asked and texted.

"I'm feeling like shit!"

"Can you even talk?"

"No, I scared my aunt when I picked up because she had asked questions instead of leaving me alone knowing I couldn't talk."

"I'll be there as soon as I can, I'll ask for time off to take care of you."

"No, don't do that. You'll get sick then!"

"I'm okay with this, just as long as you are okay and taken care of I'll risk getting sick! Are you taking anything?"

"I have nothing in the house because I rarely get sick."

"I'll call your workplace and ask one of your co-workers to bring things home for you."

"Thank you, Baby, I love you."

"Now what are your symptoms?"

She didn't respond.

"Babe?"

After no responses, I started panicking.I relaxed when she texted.

"I had a coughing fit sorry, I just puked after coughing too much."

"Thank God! I was starting to worry. Rest I'll see you as soon as I can. I love you."

The earliest I could get to her was on Saturday because of stupid work! When I got there she was feeling much better.

I stayed for a week to take care of her.

A week after that I got sick.

We had plans that weekend but she told me to stay put and rest. I didn't do that, instead, I showed up on her front door.

"What the hell you doing here? You trying to get sick worse?"

"I wanted you to take care of me," I replied with a grin.

"Oh, I'll take care of you alright!" She grumbled.

I chuckled as she shooed me into her home.

The first night she had decided to make new plans since I was sick but because I arrived anyway she was going to cancel them but I told her to go out and have fun.

"I'm a big boy I can stay home alone for a few hours."

"You sure you'll be okay if I go out?"

"Yes Baby."

She kissed my forehead.

She gave me a bowl of soup, with medicine, tea, and orange juice beside my tea in case I needed something else to drink. She gave me a few blankets, turned the heat up and gave me the remote for the TV and her Ipad so that I could play a game in case I didn't want to watch TV.

She came back a few hours later and was hyper.

"Here I am practically dying and you are dancing in my time of need?!?"
