"Jenna is that you?" my dad asks reaching out to grab my hand. I nod slowly and grasp his hand. His face is pale and you can see sweat dripping down glistening over his bruises.

"Dad you're going to be okay, everything is gonna work out," I tell him.

He smiles weakly and shakes his head.

"Oh Jenna you always were an optimist, but I may not make it and if I don't I want you to know I will always love you no matter what. I will ALWAYS love you," he says.

I feel the tears rushing down my face again and I don't even try to wipe them away. Kim steps forward and leans down to kiss my dad. He winces in pain a little and then leans forward to kiss her.

"I love you Mark," Kim starts but is cut off by her tears.

"I love you too dear," my dad replies. "These years with you have been some of the happiest times of my life!" Then he turns to me.

"I love you dad I always will I love you to death and I'm sorry for all the times I was mean or bratty or bitchy I'm so sorry I love you to the ends of the earth and back," I tell him as I start to bawl.

He grabs my hand and pulls me forward and then plants a kiss on my forehead.

"I love you too sweetie and remember sweetie I will always love you and all is forgiven I love you," he says. I put my arms around him and hug him as hard as I can without hurting him. He embraces me too and I can feel his tears on my back and then I hear him say something into my shoulder.

"I'm not dead yet Jenna, and I love you,"

I feel his arms loosens their embrace around me and I pull away slowly after panting one last kiss on his cheek.

"I love you dad," I whisper. "I really love you,"
