A slow drizzle starts as Kim pulls into our driveway. I open the car door and get out and start to walk up our cobblestone path. Our house is quite large and it always seemed perfect for our family but now it seems like a giant mansion looming over me.
"Jenna wait up," I hear Kim call to me and I pause in front of the doors and wait for her realizing I needed the key anyway. A few seconds later Kim walks up behind me and unlocks the doors and then opens them.
"Thanks," I say.
Kim sort of smiles and then places her hand on my arm.
"Jenna sweetie are you hungry what do you want to do?" she asks me.
"I'm just gonna go upstairs I need some time. You can choose wha we have for dinner I don't care," I tell her.
"Alright," Kim sighs. "I'm going to the grocery don't do anything bad," then she hugs me before walking back to her car, getting in, and driving away.
I walk inside and close the door behind me. Our house smells like it always does, Kim's "Chloe" perfume and dads "Raulph Lauren men's Blue cologne". I start to walk down the main hallway my shoes echoing with each step. When I get to the stairs I slump up them and then take a lift at the top and go into my room.
I drop my bag by the door and fall into my king size bed letting myself sink in. Just as I am about to fall asleep I hear a sound.
"Bring bring," its the doorbell.
Slowly I drag myself out of bed, down the stairs, and to the door where I look at the screen that my dad installed to show us who was outside. Travis is standing there with his hands in his pockets looking down. I open the door and invite him in.
"Travis what are you doing here?" I ask him.
"Jenna," he starts. "I have a huge problem,"
