"What's your problem Travis?" I ask him as we walk up the stairs to my room.
"Well I think I want to break up with Kate," he says.
We are in my room when he says that and I just go "beserk".
"You have a problem," I scream. "My dad just fucking died and I arrived at the hospital ten minutes before he did. And you think breaking up with your girlfriend is a problem, what is fucking wrong with you!" I finish and I feel tears start to stream down my cheeks.
Travis looks at me with a confused look on his face and then pulls me into a bear hug.
"Jenna I'm so sorry I didn't know," he whispers.
"It's okay I'm fine I'm really sorry Travis I shouldn't have blown up on you its just we just got home and he literally died 15 minutes ago and you're the first person I've told," I sigh as I pull myself out of his embrace and straighten my back.
"Not even Kate?" he asks me.
"No not even Kate," I reply.
We both sit down on my bed and fall silent. Travis takes my hand and holds it gently while rubbing my back. I lean against his shoulder and before I know it I am asleep.
