miles stood up from his seat, walking fast as the bell rang. he squished himself among the crowd, hearing snickers and laughs behind him. he was tired of being alone, having no one to talk to every single day. "there goes that freak who's inlove with his sister!" miles stopped in his tracks, breathing heavily not knowing what to do. he ran outside the school not wanting to look back. "ow!" miles stumbled upon a girl who fell. "i'm so sorry! i didn't mean it i swea-" miles helped her get back up but was cut off by her. "n-no! it's okay, miles right?" y/n looked up to him as she stood up by herself this time. "y/n/n? omygod" miles was shocked to see y/n for so long since she moved away. "what are you doing here? i thought you're in japan?" y/n laughed, fixing her skirt. "i was but my mom insisted to come back" y/n smiled. "why?" miles furrowed his eyebrows. "some reason" she sighed not wanting to bring up the real reason why she came back.

both of them walked, their hands brushing against each other. they sat in a bench, leaving inches of space between them. the cool air hit their bodies as the sound of cars passing by fills their ears. "so uh how's japan?" miles asked turning his head to y/n's direction. "it was good, the food was great and you know. it's a very colorful city. especially at night. kinda miss it there but had to leave. it's cold and the people are nice, it was hard to make friends that's why i haven't had any contact to a japanese person" the girl laughed at her last sentence, still her eyes were glued to the ground while telling the story. miles can't help but be mesmerized by her beauty. she's grown a lot. but her eyes were still the same. he always find it attractive. her hair was much shorter this time. he didn't mind it. it fit her. her style was much more different than before. she became more confident on what she wears. she hasn't change on how she talks. still rambles and ramble- "miles!" y/n snapped her fingers infront of his face making miles flinch. "ye- what?" miles stuttered in confusion. "are you listening?" y/n asked raising her eyebrows. "y-yeah! of course. you were saying?" miles cleared his throat and pretended that he heard what y/n said. "nothing. so what about you, anything up with school, nora?" y/n sighed. "it's great" miles replied coldly earning a nod from y/n. they weren't talking for a few minutes which was a little awkward for y/n. until she spoke. "i left for you"

"what?" miles asked as the curiosity filled up his body. "i left because i was alone. i even fought for it a-and still my mom's upset with me because of the stupid drama i pulled on her. i didn't have anyone to talk to, my mom was always busy, i didn't have any friends" y/n's eyes started to fill up with tears which miles noticed. so he held her hand and lightly squeezed it. "i just wanted someone to be with i can't handle being alone anymore" y/n cried and buried her head on the crook of his neck as miles also started to sob, feeling her pain. "you know i was alone too. but i'm not anymore" y/n pulled away, her hands wrapped around his neck. "why's that?"

"i have you"
