y/n and finn was in a long distance relationship. finn was traveling all around the world while y/n stayed at home in vancouver, missing him.

they would facetime everyday. well everynight alternately. since they'd have different timezones, the both of them had alarms set for calling each other. until it kinda got out of hand. y/n would call finn unexpectedly and surprisingly, most of the times finn would be at his crankiest moments.

i really missed finn having by my side. his voice, his hugs, his kisses. almost as if i can't let an hour pass by without seeing him. i plopped down my bed as i looked at my watch to see that it's 1 in the afternoon. looking up our timezones, it wasn't that late or early to where finn is. so i called him.

y/n felt bad after the call. she realized how needy she was with finn. she hated it so much that she started to cry and pull her hair. it wasn't the only time this happened. and it led their scheduled conversations to speak to each other awkwardly because of what happened earlier. y/n stood up and biked to the wolfhard's since nick stands as her older brother. she knocked on the door thrice and nick opened the door. "oh y/n- what happened?" nick gestured y/n to come in as y/n continued sniffling. "it's finn. again" y/n looked down at her shoes and nick sadly sighed. "look, i can't blame you for missing finn. i understand how hard it can be to have that kind of relationship. finn's just tired. i'll talk him out of it okay?"

"please don't, that's the hundredth time you did it nick." y/n shook her head and took a deep breath. "i'm just too needy that's all. but thanks anyway" y/n flashed a smile which nick gladly returned. as y/n worried if finn will ever come to his senses, little did she and nick know that finn just arrived at the airport, constantly worrying about his girlfriend.

"how many minutes more?" finn groaned while scanning the traffic. "calm down! just 15 minutes more" josh calmed him down, rolling his eyes. as soon as they arrived at finn's house, he immediately get his luggage by himself and threw it in the living room, leaving nick in shock. "i'll explain, just don't tell y/n/n" finn panted while nick's mouth was still agape. he quickly went inside josh's car to drop by y/n's house. "you owe me bro" josh parked the car infront of the l/n's house, his hand gesturing finn to give him money. "thanks man your the best" finn gave him the money and slowly walked infront of y/n's house, nervous who ever will open the door. finn knocked thrice as he rubs his palms against the other. to his relief, it was her mother who opened the door. but he was still worried. "oh finn dear!-" "shh can i please see y/n? i wanna make it up to her" finn  cut her off by shushing her. mrs. l/n gestured him to come inside and whispered "she's upstairs" and smiled at him. finn went up silently and turned the knob, revealing y/n who's back's faced and whom he assumes is crying.

y/n was busy from all the crying to even hear the door open. until she felt a pair of lanky arms wrap around her waist and a face buried against her neck, leaving small kisses. she turned her back and cried even more to see her boyfriend that she hasn't seen for 4 months. "omygod you're here" y/n wrapped her arms around his neck, tightening it. "i miss you so much i'm so sorry for being too needy" y/n sobbed, still not letting go of finn's presence. finn pulled away from the hug and cupped her cheeks. "y/n you're not needy, okay? i'm sorry for not being a good boyfriend and not even apologizing for snapping at you" finn wiped her tears and kissed her forehead. "it's okay, can we just forget this and that happened? please?" finn smiled at his loving girlfriend that he ever love so. "yes bubba" finn gently pulled her chin and brought her to a passionate kiss that the both of them missed. "i love you so much" finn placed strands of hair against her ear making y/n blush. "i love you so much more" y/n placed her thumb against his freckled cheek, making the boy blush as well
