"make a wish l/n!" jaeden yelled and y/n closed her eyes, making a wish. she blew all 16 candles as her friends cheered and started the small party. "hey y/n! happy birthday!!" sadie hugged y/n and gave her gift. "thank you so much sadie" y/n hugged her tighter. "hey have you seen finn?" sadie nodded a no. "maybe he's just late, don't worry about it" y/n gave a half smile. "maybe" she sighed.it was almost midnight and y/n was watching her friends having fun at her backyard, sipping her drink. she sighed heavily as she looked at her wrist, worrying about finn. until she felt a tap on her shoulder. "omygod you startled me" finn laughed at her gesture. "i'm sorry i wasn't there a while ago". "it's okay. thought you'd never come tho" she joked. "i was gonna do that but i thought it'd make you sad" he sighed. "nah it's okay i think what you did was important." she smiled. "it is going to be important." y/n furrowed her eyebrows as her eyes traveled on the blue box that finn was pulling from his pocket.
"out of all the calls we had i'll never forget the time where you had interest in stars. out of all honesty it was so random to blurt out your favorite shape and ramble about it for five minutes. and that made me like you even more. you're just a fucking star that won't stop to shine bright and it makes me happy. so uh yeah, happy birthday". finn opened the blue box that has a golden star pendant. y/n was in tears and could not believe that the person she liked the most admitted that he liked her back too on her birthday. and she couldn't be any happier. "omygod you're crying!" finn laughed. "shut up" she wiped her tears while finn awed and hugged her. "thank you so much wolfhard".
"anything for you my star, happy birthday"
