Okay wow, it's been like two weeks.. Yup.. I've been super busy and super stressed and procrastinated writing this chapter.. sorry for the wait but I hope it was worth it and I hope to update maybe at least once a week in the future..

Vic's POV:

Kellin and I ended up staying for so long in the tree house that Lynn called us practically shouting as she asked where the hell we were. We had been laying there for so long without either of us noticing just how much time that had actually passed.

The others had probably figured that we had gone off somewhere to be alone but when it was becoming afternoon and we hadn't even realized that we hadn't had lunch yet, Lynn took matters into her own hands of getting us back to the house.

"Can't we go back later tonight," Kellin asks me as we're making our way back towards the cabin.

"Of course we can." He smiles a little in response at the answer, doing this cute thing he always does where he looks down on the ground, looking all shy with his small little smile. I let go of his hand that I was holding, instead wrapping my arm around his shoulders, bringing him as close to me as what is possible without making it impossible for the two of us to actually be walking.

The majority of the day has been spent just like the other days here have been spent. We have all gone swimming since it's so freakishly warm outside and also, it's always nice to go swimming as much as you possibly can during the summer when it's warm enough in the water to do so.

We ended up playing some board games outside as well, and since we all still act like twelve year olds, we obviously got into a game of twister that we ended up taking way too seriously.

Kellin and I had just excused ourselves from the living room where the rest of our friends were very engaged in the horror movie they were watching. I'm not even sure whether or not they were listening to us and what we were saying.

We step outside after quietly closing the front door behind us, not wanting to slam it shut and give the others a jump scare. Okay, I wanted to do so but Kellin convinced me not to.

"I can never really tell if they're seriously that engaged into things or if they just don't care about where the hell the two of us are going," he states as we're outside.

"Well I don't know Jaime and Tony that well but I am speaking for both my brother and my Lynn when I say that an earthquake could literally take place right now and they wouldn't notice if they're too much into the movie they're watching. That's what they're like. Either it's no focus at all, or it is so much focus that it's actually kind of freaky.

"It's a little cute though," Kellin chirps and I stop in my tracks, looking at him offended.

"You think my brother is cute?" I ask, clutching my chest and not even being half serious about my question.

"Jealous?"

"No.. as long as you admit that you don't actually find him cute.."

"Oh come on Viccy, you know that I think you're the cutest one of all us here!" he coos, ruffling my hair which causes me to pout at him as I straighten my hair out.

"In all seriousness, you are adorable. I just think Mike is cute in an 'he's my best friend' kind of way," he reassures me and I nod, understanding what he means. I already know that there's nothing else but friendship between Mike and Kellin.

"Race you there!" my boyfriend suddenly shrieks loudly, catching me off guard.

I don't even understand what he has said at first until he's running away from me, running into the forest in the direction to the tree house.
