[ Heart Of Stone] Kokichi Ouma x Shuichi Saihara

~ Chapter 7 : Waking Panic Hours ~

He woke up quietly, his mind running, almost like a river. He questioned what happened mentally, feeling his eyes, he has obviosuly been crying

He stayed still and mostly quiet for a while, knowing that Kokichi hasn't woken up yet. While he stayed there, he thought about the day prior. It was crazy, it felt unreal. It Kokichi really mean everything he said? He is a liar after all, but even liars can't lie all the time...right?

Soon, Kokichi was awoken as well by the loud sound of the morning announcement. He rubbed his eyes and stretched slightly, being restricted a little by the male laying on his chest.

Shuichi greeted calmly,

"Good Morning"

Kokichi did the same, just a little louder and more enthusiastically.

Soon, the two of them got out of the bed and dressed again. Shuichi stretched and looked around the brightly lit room, he was surprised he actually fell asleep.
Maybe he did so because he felt comfort near Kokichi? Or maybe his mind was too focused on previous events that the brightly lit room almost didn't seem that bright.

Quickly, the two left the room and left the love hotel. They quickly made their way out of the large, castle like doors and quietly made their way to the dining hall.
It wasn't an awkward silence, or was it? Shuichi couldn't tell.
Kokichi was smiling per usual, unless he was being serious, he never really stopped smiling.
It was a little unsettling.

Once they arrived, they sat down in their seats. Almost everyone was there, except for Kaede.

After 10 minutes of waiting, almost everyone got worried. Some were more worried than others, I guess everyone dreamt the same dream again.

After another 5 minutes, Shuichi decided to get up and check on Kaede.

He rushed down the halls and out into the light once again. He quickly jogged over to the dormitory and opened the doors to the mediocre building.

He went over to Kaede's door and knocked on it, calmly at first.
He got more worried once no answer came from the other side.
He knocked on the door more franctically, but still, no answer came.
He cursed a little under his breath and then checked the door handle, he pulled on it.
It was open...

He rushed inside and looked around the room, it was...empty.
He quickly rushed around the dorm, trying to look for any evidence of when she left the dorm.

He didn't find anything, so he quickly went back to the dining hall and reported, then, he turned to Angie,

"Did you see her leave this morning?"

Angie then spoke, her accent slurring her words a little,

"She must've left before the morning announcement, Atua woke me up early and she was already gone!"

Shuichi sighed and left the dining hall, not having time to dine with the others. He was going to walk far away from the dining hall when he suddenly heard a loud shout from behind him,

"Shuichi!"

He turned around and saw the supreme leader chasing after him loudly, before Shuichi had a chance to react, he was hugged by Kokichi.

Kokichi spoke,

"You seem really serious, and I see why. Just know that no matter what, you'll be able to find Kaede"

Shuichi sighed quietly and stroked his hair and said in a defeated voice,

"I really hope we do Kokichi"

The two decided to look around everywhere, all the classroom, the Ultimate labs.
The library...The Game room...The A/V room.
You get the point.

At some point it just got painful to search, so they went back to everyone in the dining hall. They have been searching for ages, but everyone would most likely be waiting for answers.

She hasn't been found...what if-?!

All of a sudden, Monokuma appeared. It snickered and greeted the students, its vouce dripping with despair.

Shuichi spoke up before anyone could,

"What did you do to Kaede?"

Everyone questioned Shuichi's new found confidence. Shuichi really cared about Kaede, she was his best friend and he was worried about her, so his react was to be expected.

Monokuma chuckled once again, turning its full attention to Shuichi and spoke, dead serious,

"We had some problems, so we had to get rid of her! Don't worry, she's not dead, she just escaped"

Shuichi was a little relieved, but still quite shocked.

He questioned this, but Monokuma refused to answer properly, and told them that this would most likely happen often, so they should get used to it.

It then quickly disappeared before anyone else spoke. The silence ate up the room quickly, nobody had any words.

The silence continued on until Shuichi walked towards the door and left, running quickly to the door room and locked the door, not caring that it was partly Kokichi's dorm too.

Kokichi stood there amazed and confused at all of this, in the dining hall, soon, the silence stopped. Kirumi started the conversation by asking about breakfast, since nobody has actually eaten yet.
Everyone looked at each other and nodded, as even though it was mostly only Shuichi and Kokichi searching before, it would've been rude to eat without them.
Kirumi informed everyone not to worry about Shuichi's absense, she would deliver him food later.

Everyone started to chat nervously and hopefully to each other, Kokichi stayed quiet and to himself however, thinking about what Monokuma told them.
He still couldn't believe it.
He then thought about Shuichi and what he could be doing right now.

Obviously, he knew Shuichi would be upset, if not heart-broken since Kaede was pretty much his best friend. They have known each other since the start and talked a lot when Kokichi wasn't around Shuichi.

Kokichi looked around and the person next to him, Kiibo, was silent as well, he thought about starting a conversation with him, but everyone knew that that wouldn't go well.
So Kokichi stayed silent and thought to himself.

He sat there until breakfast arrived, once it did, everyone wait for everyone to be seated, and then started to eat, politely and carefully.
Kokichi had to be the most careful as he was wearing white and didn't feel like having his clothes stained.

After he was done eating, he thanked Kirumi,

"Thanks Mom"

He snickered at Kirumi's calm but slightly annoyed face, he then stood up and left the dining hall, leaving Kirumi and the rest.

He quietly made his way to the dorms, knowing Shuichi would feel the most safe there.
He knocked on the door of their shared dorm.
