“Dad, I’m going to miss you so much” I cry into his chest. He pats my back repeatedly and hums.

“Not as much as I will, darling” He says and I cry more.

“Flight to Virginia, Now boarding” Hearing that heartbreaking sentence in the intercom I cry a lot more.

“Don’t cry, darling. I will visit you as long as I can” He kisses my forehead. “I love you both so much”

“Bye, dad” Matt says

“Bye, dad” I repeat as tears continue to flow down my face. Matt put his arm around me and rubs my shoulder.

“Text me when you land, okay?” He says and I nod.

“Everything will be alright, Mitch” Matt says as we walk towards the door. I look back to where Dad was and he is still there. I wave and he wave back, throw a flying kiss. I pretend to caught it and turn around, walking inside and holding Matt’s hand.

“Don’t cry, Mitch. You look like an idiot”

“Way to ruin the atmosphere, Matthew”

“Just saying the truth”

We go to our seat and I sit beside the window. I just want to see the clouds and yeah.

I fell asleep on the plane. Thank god we got a direct flight to Virginia because it would’ve been hell if we didn’t and I don’t know if it exists. We landed safely and got off the plane. We ended up standing for a good 20 minutes waiting for our stuffs to come out. Finally, we got our stuff and walked for a while in the airport.

Then I see a familiar face, our mom. I see Matt smile and points at mom. I smile and walk towards her.

“Mom!” Matt yells and she smiles.

“Mitch!” Mom yells and hugs me first. I hug back, of course. I missed her so much.

“Hello to you too, mom” Matt says pouting and mom laughs.

“How can I forget about you?” They hug and we walk out of the airport. We get in Mom’s car and drive to the place they called home.

“So this is your room. I got your books, notebooks, schedule, pens, pencils, and anything you need in there” mom says and I smile

“Uhm… Thanks” I say and she smiles, kissing my forehead.

“I’m so happy to see you”

“Me too, mom”

“Well, I need to go to the kitchen we have visitors for dinner” She smiles again and walks down the staircase. I see Matt struggling to get my baggage on the top of the stairs and I laugh.

“So, you’re not that big and strong man, I know” I say and he glares at me.

“Do you have rocks in here?”

“Shut up, Matthew!” I giggle and he finally gets on the top of the stairs.

“Told you, I can do it” he says and I laugh. I grab my baggage and enter my room. I gasp quietly and close the door. This is so amazing but nothing compares to my room back in L.A. I appreciate what mom did for this room. It has light blue walls and white floor. The king size bed is so cool; the duvet is also light blue and white. A walk in closet. It has everything. I wish this place is going to be awesome.
