First day

I sighed climbing out of bed, my sheets seemingly attaching to my body as the immediate cold air nipped at my body. I shivered heading for the bathroom with my towel and school uniform.

I carefully turned on the tap making sure the water was at a comfortable temperature, I spaced out standing in the shower before hearing the front door open. I dressed into my school clothes before leaving the bathroom, I gazed at my mother who had collapsed on the lounge 'Again...' I thought before grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl, I picked up my bag placing it on my back before exiting the house silently.

I walked down the path calmly gazing at my surrondings, the sound of birds chirping catching my attention. I smiled softly befire entering the school grounds, Karasuno high school was well known for the volleyball team it had a few years back. My main reason for coming here is because it was closest to home.

I carefully navigated my way through the halls making sure to stay out of the way, people around me seemed to tower above me as I came to a stop, finding myself lost 'I made a right, then went straight but' my thoughts were interrupted after spotting a boy with bright orange hair rush past "Huh, H-hinata?!" I squeaked attempting to follow him, the boy came to a stop and turned around the face me "(Y/N)?" His blank stare turned into a wide toothy grin befire he rushed towards me.

I squeaked being wrapped in his arms "How have you been?! I missed you so much!" He said gaining the attention everyone around us, I become shy hiding my face "E-everyones s-staring..." I whispered as he realised "Oh Whoops" he dragged me outside before repeating what he asked "I-ive been alright" I smiled softly before escaping his grip "How about you?" I asked as he smiled "I'm pumped! I can't wait for the volleyball season to begin "Heh C-could I come and watch? I-its j-just-" "Sure!" He smiled as I blinked "Thankyou H-hinata" I said before following him to the gym

I smiled as Hinata slid the door open, His mood seemed to change after spotting someone inside "King of the court?!" He shouted before I quietly gazed through the doorway, a boy stood there just as shocked at Hinata "what are you doing here?!" They shouted at the same time "H-hinata, who i-is this?" I asked quietly gripping the loose fabric of his shirt "Why are you at karasuno?" The unknown boy growled making me squeak "I came to play volleyball!" Hinata retorted before I stepped out slightly "And why did you?!" He said "G-guys" I tugged at Hinata's shirt, an older student was watching them bicker.

Hinata and 'king of the court' quickly shut their mouths, I remained hidden behind Hinata as the boy came closer "You must be Hinata and Kageyama?" He asked before gazing at me, I squeaked gripping Hinata's shirt "Oh, sorry I didn't see you there. And your name?" He asked "Oh, this is (Y/N). She's well... shy, But I'm here for volleyball!" Hinata said with a toothy grin "thankyou" I whispered almost silently, Hinata nodded signalling he heard before the boy spoke up "My name is Samawura Daichi, I'll be acting as coach in a sort but mainly the captain" he smiled before two others joined him "My names Sugawara Koushi and this is Tanaka" a boy with grey hair smiled softly, I stepped out from behind Hinata a little more.

I spaced out for most of the conversation gazing around the gym "I GAVE IT MY ALL, SO DONT YOU DARE SAY EVERYTHING IN THE LAST THREE YEARS WAS POINTLESS!" Hinata yelled gripping his chest, I jumped slightly moving away from him and bumping into Sugawara "A-ah s-sorry!" I said twiddling my thumbs "Its fine, please relax we won't hurt you" he said smiling, I gently nodded befire returning to Hinata.

The day seemed to drag on with Hinata complaining about not being in the volleyball club anymore "Why d-don't you to try v-versing them at a m-match?" I asked befire the two boys looked back at me, I shivered thinking I said something wrong "That's a pretty good idea" Hinata smiled before eyes landed on Kageyama "Tch, don't hold me down" he said befire we made way to the gym.
