Whats next?

Tsukishima and I were what the team called the cute couple, as my photos and newspaper had started there focus on tsukki. Though it wasnt overly noticeable.

The school day had finished up and we were on the train home, it was kinda quiet for a moment before a spoke up "Kei... I think I should go see my mum.. its been a while" I said as he gazed at me "Are you sure shorty?" "Yeah" I said as he carefully took my hand "You can do what you want.. but I'm coming" he said as I blushed "I figured you would" I smiled softly " Thankyou Kei"

The train come to a stop as we quickly made our way off, to avoid the rush of people just behind us. I laughed as Tsukishima sighed at the crowd "Idiots.." he scoffed "Its rush hour, relax Kei" I smiled walking ahead of him, Tsukishima walked behind me calmly "Do you reckon shes changed?" He asked before I shrugged "I don't really know.. we're gonna find out" I said stopping out the front "Could.. you wait here?" "Last time I did that she atta-" "I wanna give her a chance" I interupted him before hugging him "It'll be alright" I smiled "Alright shorty" tsukishima said adverting his gaze "Get moving"

I nodded quietly opening the door ". . ." I gazed at the clean house, there wasnt any broken glass, the pictures on the wall were fixed and any damage to the actual house was fixed. It also had a fresh coat of paint "(Y/N)?" A woman's voice rung in my ears as I gazed at my mum, who stood in the hallway "... hi mum" I said before she ran towards me, I flinched before she hugged me "Im so sorry baby! I cant forgive myself for what I did to you... I want to make things right" she said sobbing "Mum.. thats why I'm here" I said carefully moving away from her "I cant stay away from my own mother.. I want to work things out" I said before stepping to the door "Can.. tsukishima come in?" I asked before she nodded

I turned to the door opening it "Kei, you can come in" I smiled as he approached, entering the house "Ms (Last name).. its good to see you again" he said carefully wrapping his arm around me "Oh, same to you.. Im sorry for how I acted.. but I have no excuse.. I messed up" she said gazing at tsukishima ". . ." He nodded before I spoke up "Mum.. could we stay for dinner?" I asked before she nodded "Of course! Though, if I may ask.. are you two.. together?" She asked pointing her finger at us, a smile forming "Yes.. we're dati-" "Thats adorable!!" My mother smiled "I was waiting for it to happen" she smirked before shaking her head "Sorry I'll go prepare dinner" she squeaked heading to the kitchen.

I smiled looking at tsukki "Wow, thats a bigger change then I expected" he said before looking at me "No offense" "None taken, Im glad she changed" I said before going to the kitchen to help, Tsukishima left to look at the photos on the wall, smiling to himself "Kei! Come here for a sec" I squeaked reaching for a bag of flour, nor me or mum could reach.. helpful huh?

Tsukishima smirked at me struggling before walking over "What you trying to grab?" He asked with a smirk "The flour please" I said before being lifted off the ground, squealing slightly as I was now eye level with the flour "Hurry up shorty, your heavy" he said before I looked down at him "Hey!" "Im joking" he laughed before I grabbed the flour, he carefully placed me on the ground with a satisfied smirk "Hmph" I frowned adverting my gaze "Oh c'mon shorty I was kidding" Tsukki sighed patting my head, I looked at him slightly "Nope" I smirked before placing the flour on the counter, my mum couldnt help but laugh at us "You two are so cute" she said before I blushed "Mum! B-be quiet" I said becoming a flustered mess, Tsukishima smirked "Aww Is shorty shy?" "Shut up Kei!" I said looking at him, he wrapped his arms around me "Oi, language shorty. Your to small to be saying bad words" he smirked teasing me "Heyyy, Im short not young" I said looking up at him "Alright you two, back to work" My mum said with a sly smirk

Within the next 30 minutes dinner was served and we were seated at the table, casual conversation flowed as if my mum had always been this kind. I smiled before clearing my throat "I... don't want to seem to sudden.. but I think I'd like to return home" I said as both Tsukki and mum looked at me "Really?" My mum squeaked "Of course.. its been a while" I said before Tsukishima sighed "Well tomorrow you can take your things back home" he said before I gazed at him "Aww domt be sad Kei, I'll stay over sometimes" I said as he smirked "Im not sad, I look foward to having my own room" He said as my mum gasped "Huh?! You two were sharing a bed?!" She asked "N-no! Just the same room! I slept on a seperate futon!" I blushed before she blinked "Oh.. Sorry" mum laughed before we cleaned up after our meal

The night passed before we had to head back to the Tsukishima residence "Bye mum, I'll see you tomorrow" I smiled hugging her "Bye sweets, take care" she said before lookung at Tsukki "Now, you would wanna take care of my daughter. I swear if you hurt her-" "I wouldn't dare" Tsukki said before bowing "I love her, Ms (Last name)" he said before straightening himself "Enjoy your evening" he said before we walked away, mum had a smile on her face.. i missed that

I smiled gazing at Tsukishima as we walked down the road "That was sweet" I said quietly "Tch, whatever shorty" Tsukishima said clicking his tongue "So angry" I giggled before stopping infront of him "Thankyou Kei.." I smiled before gently reaching up to kiss his cheek
