a little freedom

Between Tsukishimas practice to prepare for the spring tournament and his studies our time seemed limited, well free time. He'd help me study and all that business but I was killing for a real date, some freedom.

I smiled feeling his tall build hug me from behind "You're up early shorty, whats the occasion?" He said sneakily stealing my coffee "Well Tsukki, its the first day in a while where you arent studying and dont have practice.." i said as I turned to look up at him "Lets do somethingggg" I whined as he smirked "And what would that be?" He said before spitting the coffee back in the cup "What is this? It tastes like sugar.." he sighed "Eh?! Hey! That's my drink you just spat in! Also coffee is bitter unless you add sugar" "Coffee is supposed to be bitter shorty" he said pouring the drink dowm the sink "Not when i make it!" I said slipping from his grip "But! Lets go for lunch, its 10.30 now, we'll get to inner city by 11.30!" I said smiling.

Tsukishima sighed walking beside me "Do you think you have a chance at the coming tournament?" I asked before he sighed "Who knows, time will tell.." "Mmm" i smiled before grabbing his much larger hand, the feeling of his fingers intertwining making my heart race. We stopped looking at an oh so familiar river "That brings back memories" Tsukishima smirked "True but this time, the blossoms have bloomed" i said as we kept walking

We entered a small cafe sitting in the booth furthest from the door, having already ordered "I think that after the tournament, i should visit my mum." I said quietly as Tsukishima gazed at me taking my hand "Would you like me to come?" He said before pinching my hand "Hey that hurt" i said puffing my cheeks as he snickered "But yeah, probably" i said as he nodded "alright then"

We laughed lookimg at random photos on tsukishimas phone before a moving back to look at his folders, My eyes landing on a folder titled '(Y/N)' "Is that a folder of me?!" I squeaked as a red tint dusted my cheeks "Nah its my pet seal" tsukishima said flicking my forehead before putting his phome away "Tsukkkki" i whined "What it's not like they're ugly shorty" he said before our food arrived "I wanna see them and then ill be the judge of that" i said before picking at my Ramen bowl "Good luck, you arent getting to my phone." Tsukishima smirked before we focussed on eating.

Our small talk practically lasted for hours, laughter and snickers echoing through the cafe before we left. Slowly dawdling through the park, my eyes on the blossoms that had bloomed "They're so pretty" i smiled before stopping "We need photos!" I said before dragging tsukki to a passerby "Sir, sorry to disrupt you but could you take a photo for us?" I asked smiling "Of course" he said before we moved to the cherry blossoms "Why are we doing this?" Tsukki questioned "Memories! Now smile!" I said before smiling at the camera, We thanked the man before moving on.

Tsukishima stopped me beside the river before pointing down at it "Only a few months ago, we were here... our first date" he said before I smiled "Amd this wont be our last" i said looking up at him, Tsukishina smiling before taking my hands "Agreed" he said quietly before leaning his forehead on mine 'Is he gonna... kiss me?' I thought before it was like he read my mind and leant foward, It was soft but yet full of passion.

He pulled away before gazing back at my smiling face, I noticed his gaze before hiding in his chest "Aww has shorty gone shy?" Tsukki asked as i shook my head "No" "Sure and im the queen of england" he mocked before I shoved him jokingly, he stepped back on centimetres away from the river "Oh no you dont" he said turning for me to be near the water "Ahh! Tsukki no! I beg of you!" I squeaked as it was only him holding me out of the water "Hmm, call me Kei.. i think we can work with a first name basis" he said as i blushed "Ok ok, Kei please dont drop me" i said before he pulled me back to his chest "What? Did you think i was really going to drop you?" Tsukishima smirked as I sighed "Maybe" "thanks for the trust" tsukishima said before lifting my chin up just slightly to sneak another kiss "Mm someone's a little fli-" "Zip it" he said with a click of his tongue

I snickered before we called it a day and headed back to his place, We sat in his room watching ridiculous movies and eating popcorn. Hours passed and we'd practically passed out on tsukkis bed, I carefully sat up spotting tsukki to be asleep. I gently got the remote from beside him and turned the tv off, I stood up carefully attempting to step over him... i stepped on him..

Tsukishima grunted in pain as he sat up staring at me "S-sorry" I squeaked before he grabbed me pulling me into his lap "Shhh go back to sleep" he groaned dragging me down with him "Eh? K-kei??" I questioned as his arms wrapped around me and ge buried his head at the back of my neck, he exhaled against my neck and i shivered ". . . ." Silence filled the room before i sighed closing my eyes, His arms tightening around me as he pulled me as close as possible.. was i gonna tease him in the morning for this??
