Spring Tournament Start!

August 11th, the first day of the spring high tournament was here. After much training and jogging they looked ready, Karasuno was back and ready to fight. Once Hinata recovered from his stomach.

We sat on the 2nd level having a bite to eat, Tsukishima was quiet gazing at the floor "Kei? You alright?" I asked with a soft smile "Eh? Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He asked before my smile widened "Just making sure" I said before our conversation went quiet and we could hear others "But look at their managers, so cute!" A guy said as attention turned to him, Kiyoko and Yachi were talking and I seemed to be the only female who caught what he said as I shuffled closer to Tsukishima. Tsukishima looked at me before sneakily putting his arm around me, wary of the team and how they'd react.

We weren't hiding it, we just weren't openly shouting it to the world. It was Nishinoya who did that "Woah! Are you two like dating?!" He gasped looking at me and Tsukki "Eh? Well-" "Yeah we are, whats it to you Nishinoya?" Kei smirked "You jealous?" He finished before Noya growled "Tsukki, dont make drama" I said poking him "Man, cant believe he got a girl before me" Noya whined sulking towards Tanaka, I laughed quietly as the guys talked about the new relationship.

It wasnt long until we headed for the court, it was only one on the bench and that was Kiyoko. I sighed knowing I'd have to move to the stands "Goodluck guys!" I smiled to the team before quickly hugging Tsukki "You got this" I said as he looked down at me "Sure shorty" he smirked before handing me his jacket "See you later" he said before turning to head into the gym, I smiled before Yachi giggled "You two are cute" she said before I turned "Eh? Are we?" I blushed slightly as we walked upstairs "Totally, like Tsukishima doesnt seem like a romance type.. i honestly thought he didnt have feelings, No offense!" She said before I snickered "None taken, Id honeslty agree" I said as we sat in the front row

Our eyes were on the practice and I had even got my camera from my bag and had started taking photos, but Yachi and I continued to talk until the match started. Then we fell quiet.

Once the teams we on court my eyes drifted to Tsukishima, hugging his jacket closer to myself as he caught my gaze looking back at me. I blushed  before giving a small wave, he smiled slightly before looking ahead. The tweet of the whistle signalled for Asahi to serve and it was a point straight from the serve "Nice serve" I said quietly

The match continued as the opposing team used a feint, which Daichi recieved flawlessly and Karasuno sent the ball back over. The opposing team prepared to spike before easily being read by Tsukishima who blocked the ball easily "Nice Block Tsukki!" I shouted before everyone on the court looked at me, I squeaked growing nervous before I smiled. Tsukishima rolled his eyes before smiling back at me ". . . ." I sat back in my seat before Yachi squeaked "Are you alright?" She asked before I gazed at her "Yeah, its just weird having so many eyes on me" I said before she laughed

I looked at Yachi "All their training is definitely paying off, they seem like a total new level" I said as she nodded 'Definitly." Yachi agreed as our gaze fixated on the match which Karasuno had just taken the first set of, We smiled cheering as the team moved to the sidelines to take a break and get a drink. I smiled showing Yachi my photos "Ooh thats a good one!" She smiled, it was taken the moment the ball was intercepted my Tsukishimas block "Ahh it looks pretty good, front cover worthy?" I asked before Yachi nodded "Definitely" she said before I smiled "I'll ask Tsukishima later then" I said before the 2nd set started.

I felt bad for the opposing team, they had a lot of spirit.. but lacked power. Karasuno took the second set with an easy twelve point lead, I stood up cheering for Karasuno as they huddled together. Yachi and I looked at eachother quickly packing up the flag and our other belongings heading for the stairs, my bag on my back as we rushed over to the team.

I practically tackled Tsukishima hugging him "Your blocks were amazing!" I said as he carefully hugged me back, holding me off the floor as I smiled "Thanks" he muttered as the team looked at us "Eh?! S-sorry!" I blushed as he put me down looking at the team "Jeez lovebirds, get a room" Tanaka smirked "Tch" tsukishima glared at Tanaka before looking at me "Chill out shorty" he said before walking away ". . . ." I grew quiet as Yachi walled closer "Hehe I think you embarassed him" she said as I looked to the floor "Did I?"

We moved over to the next court to prepare for the next match, I didnt see them off this time. I went straight to the second floor and set up the flag with some help from a guy who was also spectating "What team are you supporting?" He asked as I smiled "Karasuno, you?" "Kakugawa, Sorry but I don't know if your team stands a chance" he smirked "Whats that supposed to mean?" I asked before her looked foward " Just look, none of your players stand at 2m tall do they?" He asked with a smile "2m?!" I gasped before looking to the court "Woah! Hes huge!" I said as the guy beside me laughed "Haha, hes pretty intimidating huh?" He said as I nodded "Hes also, only a first year" he said before gazing at me "Think Karasuno can still win?" He asked before I glared at him "You listen, Height is just a fraction of the game.  Besides Karasuno has plenty of tall players! You wait, He'll be blocked" I said before the guy laughed "Dont get defensive, it was just a heads up." He said petting my head "Eh?"

Tsukishima frowned standing on court, watching this stranger give you affection.. his chest hurt

I frowned pushing his hand away from me "Dont touch me" I said as he blinked "Oh? Why not? I dont see a boyfriend anyw-" "Thats cause hes on court!" I said pointing at Tsukishima "Hes preparing to destroy Kakugawa, so back off." I said as the guy raised his hands before walking away,  Tsukishima smirked before his attention returned to practice.

The match started and it immediatly got scary as 2m guy got the first two points and soon after that Karasuno called their first time out "This isnt looking good" I said as Yachi nodded "that guys scary good" she said before the match continued, Karasunos time out seemed to help as they stopped Kakugawas momentum and scored a point and the tally grew from there, Karasuno had taken the lead.

Tsukishima blocked an average members spike calmly as we were more concerned on the tall player in the back

The match was getting close with the 2nd set being Karasuno set point, which they took and had won. I smiled cheering for the team yet again, they made it past the first round.

I smiled meeting the team at the door, congratulating them as I spoke with Daichi and Sugawara. I squeaked feeling arms wrap around me "Did he hurt you?" Tsukishima asked as I blushed "Eh?! Oh! The guy from the start of the match, No he didnt" I said quietly as my face hid in tsukishimas chest "Good.." he sighed before I gazed up at him "Tsuk-" "Sorry, I was a bit of a jerk earlier.." he said before looking me in the eye, I smiled hugging him back "Its alright... Im kinda embarassi-" "Dont say it.. you are not" he interupted as the team took it upon themselves to leave.

I gazed at the floor before he spoke up "Your not embarassing.. I'm glad your here, I just have trouble showing it" Tsukishima admitted before I looked up at him "Awwww Kei" I smiled as he adverted his gaze "Shut it Shorty" he smirked letting go to head outside, I squeaked quickly catching up as I carefully grabbed his larger hand. Tsukishima smiled before squeezing my hand as we walked outside "Finally Lovebirds!" Tanaka grumbled before I smiled "Shut up Tanaka! You're just jealous your not this close with Kiyoko" I giggled as he fell silent, the team bursting into laughter "Nice.." Tsukishima mumbled as I smiled "thankyou" i smiled as we got on the bus

I gazed at my phone "Eh.. Tsukki we wont be back till late.. then adding the  travel to my place i wont be home till at least midnight.. mum has morning shift, could I stay at yours?" I asked quietly "Sure, Just check with your mum" he said before leaning back in his seat "Tired?" I asked texting mum "A little, two matches is a lot" he replied closing his eyes "Get some rest Kei.. its a long trip home" I said quietly before my phone buzzed "Mum said it's alright.." I whispered leaning on his shoulder "Mmm.. cool" Tsukki said gently wrapping an arm around me as we quickly fell asleep
