An unfortunate situation (prt 2 of the prelims)

I yawned entering the gymnasium for day two of the prelims, clutching tsukkis sleeve as the screaming fangirls made my ears ring. Tsukishima sighed as an irk mark appeared on his head "Tsukki? You alright?" I asked taking his jacket "Yep." He said before jogging off to warm up, i sat on the bench quietly tapping my foot. Soon enough someone stood beside me and i kifted my head "O-oikawa!" I squeaked looking uo at him "Hey there beautiful" he smirked befire sitting beside me "How are you?" He asked before he squinted his eyes "Whos jacket?" He asked grabbing the fabruc "Huh?! H-hey let go" i squeaked "Get your hands off her." Tsukishima said practically pulling me off the bench, i couldnt reach the ground ". . . ." I was silent as a blush spread across my cheeks "Ahh its your jacket." Oikawa sighed "Why you so protective though? Shes not yours" Oikawa said snickering "Ahh!" My blush exploded before tsukishima let go of me "Tch" tsukishima then walked away to prepare for the match.

Oikawa smirked before walking away, i quietly wrapped my arms around my small frame smiling to myself 'what if i was his?' I thought before becoming flustered and sitting on the bench. I quietly picked up my camera snapping a few shots before the match begun, i watched as Aoba josai pulled in points but that wasnt crossing karasuno out.

Around an hour had passed qnd the pressure was on as aoba josai had taken the first set, i smiled handing tsukishima his water bottle "You ok? You looked distracted" i said before he clicked his tongue "Im fine" he growled "mmm and im the queen of england" i said before he shot a glare at me "Kidding" i said wrapping my arms ariund me and the jacket "Though, distractions can be fatal on the court. You got this" i said before smiling "Its just a game.." tsukishima muttered before headimg onto the court, i frowned slightly before returning to the bench.

His words spun through my head like wild fire 'Just a game?... how?' I thought sitting on the bench as the next set started, i took a few more photos to use as the papers cover.

(Timeskip is for me being lazy, sorry guys)

Karasuno had a two point lead and were one point away from winning the set, Tsukishima and Kageyama were up front as blockers. I watched in complete fear as kageyama tugged at tsukkis top, the ball slammed into their hands smashing off tsukkis and back onto aoba josais side of the net smashing into the ground before anyone could move "Go Tsukki!!" I cheered as the crowd erupted, i quickly grabbed his water bottle and jogged over to Tsukishima "That block was awesome!" I smiled handing him his drink bottle "Thanks.." Tsukki muttered before looking down at me "Hmm? Everything ok?" I asked before tsukki scoffed and handed the drink bottle back "Nothing, its fine" he said before heading back ontp the court for the final set.

Aobas josais support group screamed as i felt nervous "They're really loud.." i muttered "Mmm dont mind them" Kiyoko said smiling softly as she jotted down notes "R-right! Lets go Karasuno!!" I smiled as the boys agreed.

With each passing minute i was biting my nails with anxiety, Aoba Josai was leading by two points and the end of the set was closing in. Tsukishima pulled a sneaky feint attack to the sude which obvisiously ticked off Iwaizumi, i couldnt helo but snicker at Tsukishimas smug expression. This match sent shivers up my spine with every echoing hit of the ball, Hinata mabaged to pull off an amazing broad attack sending the team into pure ecstasy.

It wasnt long till the whistle blew, Karasuno was switching Tadashi in?! Id spaced out so spotting his expression of complete feat made me worry "Dont worry Yamaguchi! You can do it!" I smiled as he loiked back at me, nodding slightly before stepping onto the feild. I gazed at Tsukishima who happened to be looking at me, i smiled skightly before giving him a thumbs up. Je seemed hesitant before giving me a slight thumbs up before returning to the match, I smiled before gently wrapping tsukkis jacket around me.

Yamaguchi gripped the ball before tossing it into the air and hitting it, i smiled before noticing its course. It was heading straight for the net, the ball bounced off the net before hitting the floor, Silence filled the court after the tweet of the whistle. Yamaguchi left the court with his head down 'someone say something..' i thought before Daichi spoke up "You'll get it next time Yamaguchi!" He said as Yamaguchi looked up "Right!" I stood up before quietly walking over "You ok?" I asked before he looked me "Mmm" Yamaguchi sighed "Hey hey! You'll get it next time" I smiled "Trust me" Yamaguchi smiled slightly "Right, Thanks (Y/N)"

The match had gone into a deuce, tension grew as stamina was running low. Karasuno had gained match poimt a few times but Aoba Josai managed to win it back, Hinata slammed his hand imto the volleyball prayimg to get past the opposimg blocker. A smug smile landed on Iwaizumis face as his sucessful blocj semt the final ball to the floor, the balls boumce echoed thwough the gym before the whistle tweeted signalling Aoba Josai had won...

I covered my mouth in shock as the team seemed shattered, i couldnt even find words. The gym was silent. The teams limed up and the crowd started clapping, i assisted Kiyoko in getting the waterbottkes handed out as i stopped with yamaguchi amd tsukishima "You guys played well, Nice work" i smiled before they botg gazed at me, Yamaguchi seemed emotionally effected but tsukki just seemed blank "We have to leave." He said before we followed the team out of the gym,  the walk was quiet on the way back to the bus. 

The trip was quiet as Tsukkishima and I shared a pair of ear buds to listen to music, my head rested on his shoulder "You played really well..." i whispered as he clicked his tongue "Tsukki.. could we hang out? Just me and you?" I asked almost silently "Whatever shorty" he said before as i couldnt find anything to say, so we sat silently.

We arrived home to which Coach Ukai treated us to dinner "You all played well today, you will grow stronger. Together." Ukai said before looking down at the table "Now dig in, youve earned it" he said, I smiled carefully taking a bowl and serving myself some food. Tears were shed and sniceks were heard as the team ate, i gazed up at tsukki who seemed fine. His expression didnt give any hints to how he felt.

Around an hour passed before we had to excuse ourselves, We were heading for the train station "Tsukishima, why did you join Volleyball?" I asked as he scoffed "My brother used to play, that was my reason as a child... in all honesty... i dont know or care" he said as we sat on the train "So thats why you said what you said earlier" i muttered "Hmm?" "Earlier, you said it was just a game... That'd be why... you havent found a spark" i said gazing out the window, the rest of the trip was silent.

SO SORRY ITS BEEN FOREVER!! omg im so upset with myself it isnt funny, Sorry guys!! Im gonna try update regularly again but i cant make any promises, the next chapter womt be main frame related, its a lil time for Tsukki and you to enjoy eachothers company!! XP
