Albus's POV
I groggily turn over in my soft bed as the sounds of hushed squabbling fill the silence traveling up the stairs.
My head starts to clear the confusion that is waking up and I notice the sound of my best friends voice, my brothers voice and his boyfriends
"Scorpius please just let him sleep I'm sure he'll tell us everything in the morning'
I could hear teddies exparated voice obviously the couple had been trying to keep scorp calm for quite awhile
But If i knew my best friend though I wasn't sure i did anymore he wouldn't stop till I opened this bloody door
'But he's supposed to come back to Hogwarts tonight he needs to come back with me !' Scorpius was upset that was plain to see or we'll hear I guess he became defensive and his voice always began waver when he was angry
'Fine we'll be downstairs' I heard footsteps travel back down the stairs as light ones padded toward my room.
With a knock on my door I swiftly glance at the lock sighing in relief when I see it locked I must of locked it before drifting off
'Albus ?' The voice of Scorpius traveled lightly through the door
'Albus I know your awake in there' he said knocking harder and louder and he kept going knocking harder louder and quicker I didn't think he would stop until he did I had never seen the side of him that gave up i guess I'd never really had given him the chance to yet.
I heard he back slid down the door onto the floor
'Why are you shutting me out Albus' he waited for a beat afterwards
'I can't let you shut me out again Al i can't go through that again'
'I'm sorry just tell me what i did so I can fix it please'
I heard his deep sigh billow from his chest and the sound of him standing up and walking off
'I'm not fine, I know I said I was but I'm not'
the whisper dribbled from my lips uncontrollably I held my breath as I heard his foot steps stop but after only a moment they continued their path
