Scorpius sprinted to the hospital wing tears in his eyes. He was hysterical how could this happen ? Has he done this on purpose ? It was all his fault Scorpius battered him self until he made it inside the hospital wing.
"J-James" we spoke huffing and barley being able to speak through his laboured breaths.
"Scorpius what are you - are you okay ?" The blonde boy still catching his breaths slightly bent over looked up at the slightly taller man with the brown hair.
"Is-is Albus going to be okay I- I can't" he began to cry the tears dribbling softly down his cheeks after a moments hesitation James pulled him into a hug.
"Shhhh he's okay it's all going to be okay"
"It-it's all my fault if i-i"
"It's not your fault you didn't make him do anything"
"B-But" this went on for a while longer till Scorpius calmed slightly and James let him go.
They say talking quietly outside of the curtain for a while until they heard footsteps. Looking up Scorpius saw the fallen face of the sweet Madame pomfrey
"Scorpius I'm so sorry about Albus but I'm going to have to ask you to leave it's only family allowed" Scorpius stood looking at his feet he knew he should leave he didn't even know if Albus would ever want to see him again.
At that moment Harry, Ginny and Lily exited the curtain and Teddy entered the hospital wing with several mugs of hot chocolate his late father's specialty.
"He is family, why don't you check on him your all he can talk about" Harry this time spoke hand on the blonde boy's shoulder a sympathetic look smouldering in his irises.
Scorpius silently slipped through the curtain standing on the left side of the bed where Albus lay facing away from him.
"I'm sorry" the two so very simple words synchronise between the boys voices. They laughed lightly everything had been so dark for so long. though they still lay under a thick cloud of fog they hand held on to a tiny speck of light but this tiny speck of light was all the boys needed.
It was unbeknownst to the two young men of how and when but at some point Scorpius's soft pink lips had met Albus's lightly cracked lips that curled into a unforgettable smile as the two refused to let go.
Their hands softly roamed each others pale cheeks that grew matching rosy tints and their fingers swam through each others soft locks of hair.
Finally they broke to the surface for air. Their eyes swimming with sparks that had rained down from the gentle pink and gold hues of sunset.
"I-I'm sorry Albus I should-shouldn't have your vulnerable-"
"Oh for Merlin's sake" Albus swung his hands around the antsy boys neck pulling them so close that their lips grazed softly.
"I love you Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy and there is nothing you could do for that to wilt for even a moment" Their lips crashed like a dangerous burning flame of burned them more with each touch but the heat of it all melted their brains too much to comprehend the significance of their words all they knew is they needed this, they need each other as much as the waves need the moon.
"I love you to Albus Severus Potter"
