"Strange!" Y/n called out, catching the sorcerer's attention. "You said one out of 14 million, yeah?" She asked. "Tell me this is the one." She almost pleaded.  "If i tell you what happens, it won't happen." Strange said. Hope filled her chest, as she continued in fighting off the monsters. Glancing at Peter-- slightly smiling. He's really back. I can't believe it.

Peter was her childhood crush. She always wanted to see him, yet her father either locks her up and sometimes teases her about it. Who would like a 12-year-old anyway?  She thought, smiling bitterly to herself.

She finds herself staring at Peter while having the flashback from five years ago as Peter suddenly stops fighting and catches her gaze. Her eyes didn't go wide but shock and nervousness filled her chest as her face grew red.

"Is that Y/n?" Peter muttered, his eyebrows scrunched up slightly but an amazed smile was curving in his lips. The girl he knew as Y/n was a 12-year-old who has this cute crush on him and blushes every time she sees him. Who has a pink glittery backpack bouncing up and down on her back a she runs off to somewhere.

Now she's staring at him, slightly panting as the chest plate of her Iron Girl Suit she made- went up and down. She was 17 now, her hair (her helmet wasn't on-- a habit she had which Tony hated) in a ponytail, slightly flowing in the wind.

"Y/N--" A groan escaped Tony's lips that cut him off. " HELMET!" He yelled. "Oh.." Her helmet went back on as she chuckled, not noticing that Peter grew red at her actions. She flew backwards when she aimed her repulsors in front of her as she headed backwards to her father. Iron Man and Iron Girl circled each other-- fighting off the monsters. Rescue came and into the circle.

"Woah..." Peter muttered out. "I am definitely gonna tell Morgan about this" Y/n said.

Y/n watched her Aunt Carol fight off Thanos. Y/n was terrified of him earlier. Who wouldn't be afraid of a purple serial killer who happens to be 5 times your size? She was winning, "Come on... Come on!" she muttered under her breath. Thanos was losing bit by bit-- which sparked hope. You just gotta remove that gauntlet. She thought. Until Thanos removed a stone and used it against Auntie Carol. Her eyes widened and grew a little worried about Carol.

The blast gave off a deafening roar of power as it threw Carol far away. Y/n got an idea-- but pushed it to the back of her head. Tony crawled in exhaustion and pain to see what was happening in the battle. Every one was fighting the war but it seemed for Y/n, Strange, and Tony that everything was silent. Stephen looked over to Tony and held up his pointer finger. One.

Tony got the clue, preparing himself for his decision. He panted as he stared off into nothing. Y/n looked at him, she got the clue too. No. She thought. Tears blurred her vision as she thought of the approaching fate. Thanos slowly put the Stone back into the gauntlet and as it was connected to it, a surge of power went through him made by the Six Infinity Stones. He groaned and closed his eyes. Y/n noticed her father moving from his position so she acted fast and went to the Mad Titan himself. She pulled the gauntlet from him. "Y/N!!!" Tony yelled for his daughter. It has to be him. It has to be. Not his 17 year old.

Thanos punched and pushed her away as Y/n rolled back painfully. Finally. Thanos thought, already seeing a chance of the last checkmate to trap the King. He brought up his hand that wore the Gauntlet and adjusted it. "No!" Tony weakly yelled, he was too weak and he can not get up from his position. "I am inevitable."  Thanos said. Then--

*SNAP*

A snapping sound of metal gloves was heard. Of  a metal empty Gauntlet.

Thanos looked at the Gauntlet in confusion, turned his hand to see what was wrong or missing in the Stones-- had Y/n stole one or two. Any of the Stones wasn't there.

Thanos's stomach churned. He turned to look at Y/n who knelt not far from him. The stones was climbing up her hand while she panted. When it assembled- the power went through her as she fought not to cry. Her head was thrown back and she panted. She fought the pain to be able to speak, with worry that her voice would break. "And we're the Avengers." She said then scrunched up her face with determination as she snapped with a loud boom.

Rocket hopelessly fired at the monster flying towards him with its mouth opening. He ducked but he wasn't met with teeth. A wind went through him polluted with dust. He looked up, the monster was gone. Everyone stopped fighting.  The enemies were vanishing one by one. And the question that lingered in the brain of the Avengers was; "Who did it?" It was all finally done, they finally won-- but who did it?

Thanos's troops went to dust in front of him. He stumbled backwards, and sat down to realize that he lost. He panted as he felt pain in his body. Then slowly, he turned into ashes-- starting from his back. He put his head slowly down. Carried by the wind from his right, his ashes spread out.

Y/n stood up, meeting her father as she fell into his arms. Tony hugged her as she fell to her knees and laid her back onto his chest sliding slightly down so her head laid on his chest as he hugged her. "Baby." Tears fell from her eyes, and her whole body was numb. Rhodes landed in front of Tony hugging his daughter. Y/n stared off into nothing as Tony smiled sadly and cried.

"Y/n?" An all too familiar voice called. Y/n didn't even have the energy to look who it was but she knew. Rhodes made way for Peter. "Hey." He said, starting to cry. Y/n was unable to reply which made her sad. Tears brimmed and went down her cheek. "Y/n can you hear me?" He asked, his voice breaking. "Its Peter!" He said falling down to his knees. "We won.... Y/n?" He called for her.

"We won, Y/n."

"We won. You did it, (your nickname). You did it." He caressed her cheek and recalled every moment with her. And he hated that she was leaving them. It could have been me. Peter thought, and so did everyone who cried softly.

"I'm sorry. Y/n" He cried and cried. She was dying now. And what hurt her more was that she wanted to get up and hug every one because although she saved them all, she felt so guilty of having to leave them. She didn't wanna go, but the pain and numbness of her body said otherwise. Pepper knelt down and Peter stepped aside, crying. Y/n's mouth opened to speak but nothing came out. She cried as she recalled how she pushed Pepper away when she tried to be a mom to her, saying she would never be her mother. When in reality she enjoyed it-- being with her, laying her head on Pepper's lap unknowingly as she fell asleep on the couch.

Pepper held out a device-- that Y/n had made. She put the device on her arc reactor. The device converted brain messages into soundwaves, in the voice of Y/n. So she could speak without having to die more in pain. Tears fell down her cheeks once more as the device said "Mom."

Pepper's eyes widened before leaning in to kiss her on the forehead. There they were, The father holding her dying daughter and her mother figure cried-- because Y/n finally recognized her as her mother-- but why'd it have to be before she dies?

"I love you, Mom--" she paused. "--Dad," Tony hugged her tight. "Peter." She said. Peter went and cupped her cheek.

"Oh god." the voice croaked out in pain. "Dad... Dad-- Dad it hurts. It hurts" Tears replaced the old ones. "I'm sorry, baby." Tony apologized. "Don't be sorry Dad--" She paused, becoming weaker and weaker by the second. "losing you would hurt more."
