I couldn't wait to finish this so there will be another part, I'm sorry if this annoys you okay

Chapter 4 (Part 1)As Dahlia had promised the afternoon before, she was at my house bright and early before my alarm even went off.
She was standing on the balcony connected to my room, and I watched as she impatiently tapped her foot and started to knock on the glass door again.
I slowly got up from my cozy bed and dragged my body towards her to let her inside.
"It's about time, it's freezing out there!" She spoke loudly. I simply rolled my eyes at her.
"Well then why are you wearing a dress?" I glanced over her outfit, and although she was wearing combat boots and a coat, her legs were still completely exposed.
She flipped her hair over her shoulder before she replied. "Pretty hurts."
"Well whatever you do to me this morning better not hurt me. I mean it Lia," I said sternly yet the smirk still didn't leave her face.
She giggled and jumped onto my bed with her arms and legs spread like a starfish.
"Go do your basic routine, I'll wait here," she ordered me. It was too early to argue so I just followed her instructions and came back out when I was finished.
"Time for the fun part!" She exclaimed.
Uh oh.
♡♡♡
"Why am I wearing this again?" I asked irritably as my teeth chattered. I hugged my coat closer to me and narrowed my eyes at my peppy best friend as we walked through the school parking lot to the building.
"Because you look cute! I don't know why you haven't worn that skirt yet," She told me while evaluating my outfit. I had on a fitting white shirt with a light, pastel skirt which had an embroidered pattern that couldn't be seen unless someone was up close. I was wearing my white converse (I refused to wear anything besides sneakers) and a comfy cardigan that couldn't be seen from beneath my coat.
"Probably because it's still winter! It's not even March yet," she insouciantly shrugged her shoulders at my explanation. "And what's so wrong with jeans?"
"There's nothing wrong with jeans, but you wear them every single day. And if it's not jeans, it's sweatpants. It's time to switch it up!"
Whatever, I thought to myself. I remembered I actually had an extra pair of sweatpants in my locker for gym. I'd just change into those when she wasn't looking.
We walked up the stairs to Maybach High and I glanced around to see only a couple people still around, but even they were heading to class. I glanced back over at Dahlia.
"And what's with all this makeup? My face doesn't even feel like my face!" I said I started touching my cheek.
Lia just laughed at me. "I didn't even put on that much. Just wait until I get you ready for Ryan's party." As she mentioned the party, a lightbulb turned on in her head. "Remember to get that invitation!" She all but screamed. Her eyes widened in realization and she quickly covered her mouth giving me a sheepish look.
"Yeah, yeah. I will." She looked like she was about to say something else but I cut her off quickly. "Trust me. Now let's get our books and head to class before we're late!" She nodded her head and gave me a quick hug as she scrambled down the hallway to her locker.
I did my usual routine of getting my books and heading to class. First period flew by and I was already walking to my next one. As usual, I had to listen to my teacher drone on and on for second period, but at least I had chance to look around my World History class to discover that Ryan was actually here too.
I tried not to stare at him, I didn't want him to label me as a creeper, it would totally ruin my chances of getting that invitation. I turned my head back around so that it was once again facing my teacher, and thought about what I had to do.
It seemed pretty simple in my mind; just wait until he was alone, approach him, flirt with him a little, and casually bring up his party if he doesn't already. Easy.
I was jolted out of my thoughts when the bell rang, and I saw Ryan get up from his desk. I started to quickly gather my notebook and pencils so that I could go talk to him, but before I even started walking in his direction I realized he was not alone.
A couple guys were around him and they were casually chatting as if they were good friends, and there was a cluster of girls who looked like they were fangirling over them. I didn't really understand why, they were normal teenagers just like the rest of us.
I walked out of class and went to my locker to exchange some books and then to third period, which was trigonometry today. I walked inside a couple minutes early and took my usual seat in the middle of the room. Roman was already seated in the desk beside me. We gave each other friendly smiles before Mr. Koch talked about how we were going to start learning about the sinA formula. I felt Roman's gaze on me and I hoped that I didn't look like a linebacker in a skirt.
"We'll only be using half of class time for your project; that means that you and your partner will most likely have to work on it outside of school," my teacher explained while some of my peers listened.
After he was finished talking I turned toward Roman to discuss how we'd finish our project.
"When do you want to come over?" We both asked at the same time. He raised his eyebrows expectantly and I just shrugged.
We decided to just go with Saturday at about noon. I usually sleep until dinner time when I can, but I guess I'd have to make an exception for this time. We exchanged numbers and talked about random things for the rest of class. When the bell rang I grabbed my notebooks and walked out of the classroom as I felt Roman's gaze following me.
My morning classes felt extremely long, and as I was on my way to lunch I saw Ryan at his locker by himself.
