It's been almost two months since the Lizard's terror on New York. Gwen has finally revealed to Peter that she has spider powers from his blood, which Peter constantly blames himself for, and believes that it is his responsibility to teach her how to use them. While Peter's drama is going on, Otto has become more and more mentally unstable from his fight with the Lizard, causing him to take on the persona of Doctor Octopus. Doc Ock only has one goal in mind: kill Kurt Connors before he can make more projects that cause harm, although Connors is completely innocent. To help him, he breaks free five of the most dangerous criminals from the Raft. The only thing is, they all have only one thing in common: they want to kill Spider-Man.
