Sophie had spent most of the night awake, alone with her thoughts after Castiel had fallen back asleep on the couch. She had been feeling anxious, trying as patiently as she could to wait for Sam's call. In her gut, a feeling of uncertainty shook her to the core, and she wondered just how much longer it would be before Dean would be back to normal- if at all. She longed for his wit again; she'd even accept his irritable self if it meant knowing he'd be human. She bicker with him until she was blue in the face for the sheer since of normalcy.

Hannah hadn't spoken a word to Sophie that morning, but, frankly, Sophie was grateful for the privacy. She didn't hold anything Hannah said against her, and was willing to move passed it so long as she mind her business. Sophie didn't want to boss anyone around just because she was the Daughter of God, and she didn't like the feeling of giving orders. Hannah needed structure, however, and as long as Sophie did things differently than the Archangels things would fall into place. They already had in a way, and Heaven was more than ready to start over.

Sophie looked away from the window, watching as Alice's little girl stared incessantly at Castiel. She smiled slightly, watching as both Castiel and the little girl looked at each other with the same awe and wonderment. She was aware angel's couldn't bare children, but she always liked the idea.

Sophie felt her cell phone as it began to buzz, and the low hum of Kansas sang to her as she pulled it out of her pocket. Sam's caller idea flashed on the screen, causing her to almost jump from her seat. She scurried out the front door and onto the porch, answering the call. "Sammy," she answered, hopeful. "Tell me you have good news."

"Kind of," he said. "I ran into Crowley, believe it or not, and, apparently, him and Dean have had a falling out. He gave up Dean's location in exchange for the First Blade."

"And you accepted his offer?"

"I didn't know what else to do," Sam sighed. He paused for a moment and Sophie listened intently for him to continue. "Anyway, I headed to the strip joint where Crowley last left Dean. He wasn't there, but Dean had gotten a little touchy with one of the dancers. The bouncer game over and Dean beat him up pretty bad. I must have just missed him, but the bouncer gave me a lead on where I might find him. A place called Johnny's."

"Okay, well," Sophie looked over her shoulder, glancing through the window as Alice spoke to Castiel and Hannah. "Give me an hour and I'll meet you there. Castiel is a couple hundred miles from the bunker, but he's willing to meet you there."

"Good. I'll need all the help I can get."

Sophie pressed her lips together, crossing her left arm over her stomach. "We're going to fix him, Sammy."

Sam didn't answer. He only muttered a quiet goodbye before the line went dead. Sophie pulled the phone away from her ear and shoved the phone into her back pocket. She winced slightly, placing her hand to her stomach as the twinge of pain occurred again. She looked down at herself, still unsure of what was causing it and hoping it wouldn't prohibit her from getting to Sam, pronto.

The front door opened; Castiel and Hannah walked outside with Alice. "You three are ready to go," Alice beamed, nodding toward the car outside on the lot. "Maybe next time get some rest instead of drivin' so late."
