Angel hops off the boat and takes in her first glance of the outside of the museum. "It's so... Green." She said, amazed by the amount of plants and natural decoration scattered around the area. She looks behind her and watches the rest of the guests climb off the boat. Ruben approaches her. "I wonder if they have snakes!" He says, excitement obviously detectable in his voice. "Sure they do." Rosie says and she gives him a smooch on the cheek. She points at one of the bushes. "I think I just saw one slithering there." She says. "Really?!" Ruben smiles widely and dives straight into the plants. "Ruben and his snake addiction..." Dominique mocks. "He's happy, y'know." Rosie says, smiling. "Yeahhh...." Dominique responds sarcastically. In a frightened manner, Lia is the last one to climb down the ship's ladder. "Do we get paid for going on this tour? Because I don't like it that much so far..." She looks down and almost slips, but quickly regaining grip on the ladder. She skips the last few steps and lets herself drop onto the sand. "I don't think we get paid sis." Loy says. "Ah, bummer." Lia stands up and brushes the sand off of her clothes. "So when is this guide coming?" Joshua asks. "Wait, there's a guide?" Ruben asks while crawling out of the bushes with a snake in his left hand. The snake would hiss at him. "Hey! Bad mountain goat!" Ruben yells at it. "That's-" "I know, it's just his name." Patton tries to correct Ruben on the species but Ruben explained before she could say anything. "If I was a snake I would love to be named that." Patton says. "Should we take a look inside to see if we're supposed to be in...?" Annabelle suggests. "That's kinda good idea! You deserve a Patton the back!" Patton says. "I'll come." Joshua says. "I think the rest of us should stay back here to wait on the guide then." Angel says. "Alright, cya guys!" Annabelle says, waving at the people staying behind.Patton, Annabelle and Joshua head through the front door and take a look at the lobby. Even the inside makes the museum look like it's a palace. The floor is Diamond-wise black and white checkered with a marble-like material. The walls are crimson with a pink fancy pattern, the curtains around the front door are crimson velvet with a golden curtain rack to hold them up. The first thing they notice however is that there is no counter, there's only a brown soft rug with golden and red velvet chairs and couches around it. There's a fireplace before the seatings and a lot of paintings and artifacts surrounding it. "This place is beautiful..." Joshua says. "I couldn't agree more." Annabelle says as she runs her fingers across the velvet curtains. "I wish this was the home we were residing." Patton says, readjusting the grey cardigan around his neck. "Right, I keep forgetting we're spending the night here." Annabelle says. "It makes appreciating the price of this tour much easier." Patton says, he'd take off his backpack and take out a bag of cookies. "Cookie? Anyone?" He grabs a star-shaped cookie and presents it to the others. "You brought cookies?" Joshua asks. "Yea! I made them myself!" Patton says and hands it to Joshua. Joshua takes a bite from it. "Wow.... These cookies are... Out of this world." He'd wink at Patton. Patton giggles. "I get the joke." He says, but his expression turns from happy to pissed off. "I'm the one who makes the jokes here young man." He says. Joshua starts slowly eating the rest of the cookie and holds his hands in the air. "Don't shoot." He says. "Task at hand! It seems there's no guide here, so let's head back out there." Annabelle says.
Meanwhile Ruben is busy taking care of his snake, "What kind of snake species is it?" Rosie asks "It's a blue coral snake" Ruben says. "Isn't that a really venomous snake" Angel asks "Yes it really is a venomous snake" Ruben says. "You should watch out that it doesn't bite you." Lia says, worry in her voice. "Don't worry, it's very well-trained!" Ruben says. "Already? That's quick." Odyss says. "Too quick indeed. What are you, a snake whisperer?" Dominique asks. Ruben starts mumbling and whispering random words to the snake. "Yes." He says after. Dominique scoffs. Lia is staring at the door, waiting for the others to return. And then they do. Joshua walks out first and lifts his arms. "Nope, no guide here." He says. "Dammit, he should have been here thirteen minutes ago." Lia complains. "Can't we just head back with the boat? I'm sure the captain is still there."
That's when I glanced at the boat and saw a blue flash, I looked around and it appears that nobody else had seen it. I tell them that it wouldn't be a good idea to go and check. I felt threatened, but obviously it was a dumb thing to say. It only seems more like I would betray them later tonight. And trust me, I won't, I realised too late that this made me sound very suspicious. It's lucky that the others were brave enough to go in and check anyway. I stayed outside, I still felt like something bad was happening.
