Colorful Tears

Bathed in colorful tears

Her life was no more than a beautiful tragedy

She struggled painfully through every storm

Each storm with wave so strong it had her

Roots shattered in unequal parts

She cried herself to sleep each day

Wondering if she was ever going to learn
the meaning of happiness

Smiling itself was a luxury she knew she could never afford

She stares in wonderment at people smiling

Rage Rage Rage
Clouds her vision at her pathetic state
She hated the world

At least she thought she did
Of course that was what she taught herself to believe

She ached
She ached all over
So much pain
She hadn't any idea where exactly
This pain radiated from

All she could ever utter was tears
Salty stream of unstoppable drips
She tried to make friends but failed at that also

No one understands

And she wanted to hate them for that

But in the end there was only little
to hate about others
when you have so much hate for yourself

Holding on to her sanity was like a battle she already lost before it began
She fought them
She tried to fight them
Those whispers that filled her head with darkness

But failed with every tick of the clock
And every failure only ate a deeper cut of a part of her heart
Until there was naught left
