Chapter 8

Phase 2. Getting gear.

"Hey Steve, can you help me?" I ask and Steve turns to meet my eyes.

"Huh?"

It's 10 am.

"I need a costume upgrade, can you help me?" I take some toast. I just woke up.

"Yeah, Where's Tony?" He asks, taking a sip of coffee.

"Still passed out from last night." I wink to add on extra measure.

"Oh I see." He says shortly. And turns away from me.

"Ok, where can I get stuff?" I ask him, and he responds with:

"I just remember I have to meet somebody, it's upstairs to the left." And with that he walks off.

Strange I think, but I follow his directions and soon have all my gear. I store it away in my room, and head outside.

I should probably find out where Bobs house is so it's easier to get to, so, I grab my water bottle, enter in his address to a small gps I took and head out.

I walk along the road and a pleasant smell fills my nose, it's chicken from a nearby restaurant and it makes me hungry. I tell myself I'll stop by later though, after I find his house. I keep walking and listen to the buzz of cars in the street. 

Horns honk and people yell out their windows as one person sits in their car on their phone, instead of driving at the green light, so I take off the black lid off my water and splash it through his openwindow, and I earn a round of applause from the people who are watching.

I soon find his house, a brick one in a bad neighborhood. The walls are cracked in the garage and the driveway is cracked and the flowers are dying.

Crappy house for a crappy guy I think and turn around.

I keep walking into town and again smell the chicken.  Since I have money on me, I walk into the diner and see no other then Peter Parker with some of his friends. Oh to be young I think and sit down.

<After Lunch>

I jog back to the tower and go into my office, which is connected to my room, and log into my computer.

I finished reading the article and took some notes. It's around 2pm now.  So now it's time for phase 3; Peter.

I just saw Peter out about 30 minutes ago so I can see if he's back now, so I walk down the hall and into Tony's lab and there he is.

"Hey Peter, can you help me with something?" I ask him. "It shouldn't be too hard."

"Uhm what is it?" He turns around. Stark probably told him something.

Peters POV
What is it? I think. She looks upset.

"I need to get something in the tech room, but I wasn't told the code." She wiggles a bit.

Mr. Stark probably didn't tell her for a reason, and he told me not to trust her too much. But she looks like she really needs this.

"Please Peter it's really important!"

~Time Skip~

Cheshire's POV

Well that was easy. I have my tracker, grappling hook, and night vision goggles. Now all I have to do is wait until 12:30 pm to get ready.

~12:30 pm~

Time to get ready, I pull on my black suit and grab my gear. I then open the window and a cold breeze hits my face.

I leap out of the window and hit the sidewalk and begin to run.
