Cheshire Avengers {Re-Write}

Chapter 19

I stand there stunned.

"Peter?!"

"Chyann?!!?"

"You're spider man?!!?"

"You're a hero?!"

"Yes!!" I say, and then realize his face is weird. I remember I'm in a bra, but I don't care. That's not important now.

"Wait who are you?" I ask, and he looks up at me.

"S-spider man...." I almost died right there.

"Y-you're spider man?!?" I exclaim and he nods .

"And who are you?" He asks me.

"I-" I think. I don't know. I don't have a hero name, I'm just- me. "Cheshire."

"Cheshire?"  He looks confused.

"Well- um I'm not that popular..." I say my voice trailing off.

"Oh." He looks down for a quick second, then up at me. "So what's your power?!?"

I can see he's excited. Probably to see someone his age, that he knows, with powers like him.

"E-um, well, one of them is teleporting and I can also turn invisible!" I stammer and he looks shocked.

"Two?! Well I can stick to things and lift heavy things. It's pretty cool I guess." Peter tells me and I see his eyes light up.

"Sweet. We should train together!" And I feel comfortable enough to flash my largest grin.

"Yea- WOAH WHAT?!" I can tell he's freaked out. This keeps getting better.

"This is one of my other abilities- anyway does tomorrow after school work?" I ask him and he nods, still shocked. I laugh and walk off waving. "See ya!"

He says bye and I run off up the stairs and to my room, still smiling. It's nice not having to hide myself, well, at least all of myself. Some things have to remain a secret.

Using my cat-ears I can still hear them talking, but I can't figure out what they're saying.  It doesn't bother me, it's probably not about me.  I continue my adventure to my room and once I get there I change my clothes into comfortable things so I can study.

It's been a long and emotional day so I can't focus too much, but eventually I get (some) things done.

*skip to Morning*

"Chess!" Tony yells into my room and I bolt up, looking at the time. ITS NINE!

"OH SHOOT I'M LA-"I scramble to my feet but Tony laughs.

"No! You're fine! Yesterday some kid at school and his friends got drunk and broke a ton of windows. It's canceled for the next 2-4 days." He says and I relax.

"O-ok that's ok." I don't know what to say, so words just come out of my mouth and into the open room.

"So anyway around 11 I invited Peter to train with you and he said yes." Tony leaves the room.

"So get some homework done, clean your room, and eat breakfast." He yells from down the hall.

I sigh, looking over at all of my homework, which really isn't that much, and get started on the horrible thing they humans call math.

*after a long 20 minutes of tormenting highschool math*

I lay back, releasing all the tension I had in my back and stare out the window, at the city around me. I could get used to this. But do I want to?

And I begin to think of all my friends and places I like to visit at home. Bothering Rabbit with Hatter (who hasn't visited in a while) and teasing the Queen of Hearts, who is in jail. Slowly I begin to miss my tree most of all. Thinking of it's long thick branches, and beautiful green leaves makes me a bit sad. But I'll be fine. I like it here. Plus I can go back anytime I want.

I let myself lay down and then remember Peter would be coming over to train with me, so I got into some workout clothes and go to the gym to stretch. I hear steps coming towards the gym and see Tony and Peter come in, to see me stretching.

"Hey!" I call out and Tony waves.

"You guys can train, I'm going. Byeeee!" And Tony winks on his way out. Stupid Stark.

I can only imagine what he thought we where going to do, and I quickly get that image out of my head.

"Let's stretch." I say and Peter nods, walking over to me.

I'm sorry I'm just not feeling the best right now. Mentally I just have a bit going on and I'll try to make my next chapter longer. I'm honestly really sorry and I know y'all expected more, I just don't have too much more to give you.   Also I believe I'm going to put the story on hold for a little bit.  I'm sorry I really am.
