I updated a day early praise me

After first hour, everyone wanted to talk to me.

"Are you really Tony Starks daughter?"

"How come I've never heard of you?"

"Does he have a wife?"

"Why did you dye your hair?"

It's beginning to annoy me.  Well, it already has annoyed me but now I'm getting mad.

"No, maybe I didn't want you to hear of me. No. I wanted to. Now fuck off." I say and they all look at me in disbelief.

"Wow."

"Damn"

"What ya never heard a girl cuss? You heard me! Scram!"  I scold and that seems to do the trick. They all rush off.  I look at my schedule. Room 201. This is going to be a loooooong day.

By the time lunch comes around everyone has heard of me. All I wanted was a normal high school experience but I guess we can't get what we want.

Walking into the lunch room I notice the chatter seems to quiet down as heads turn to me. How did they even know I was here?? After about five seconds of mildly uncomfortable staring they return to talking. I look around. It smells like some strange pizza. Tables are lined up around the place and they all seem so full.

I sigh and find a table. That isn't hard because everyone wants to sit by me. But I do find one with only three people. And no one follows me over. These guys must be the losers.

The first boy, has dark hair and is large, but not tall. The second boy, sitting next to him has light skin, brown hair, and is also on the shorter side. Maybe two inches taller then I am. And a girl, sitting at the end of the table reading. She's really pretty with brown hair, and darker skin.

I sit by the boys and they both look up.

"Hi" one of them says. Brown hair.

"..hey." I take a bite of my sandwich.

"I'm Peter and this is Ned. You must be new." Brown hair, who I now know as Peter tells me.

"I'm Chyann." And I offer my hand, something Tony taught me to do.

Peter shakes it and I continue eating.

"So are you really Tony Starks daughter??!?" Ned, asks and it catches me off guard.

The other one, Peter, smacks his lightly.

"Not now Ned." He whispers and I grin a bit.

"It's complicated." I tell him, and keep eating.

"So who do you have for first hour?" Peter shifts in his seat.

"I don't remember. Some male English teacher who can't shut up." And that makes them both laugh.

"I forgot his name, but Michelle down there has him." Peter gestures to the girl who's reading.

"Cool."

This might not be a crazy popular experience. This could be nice. And by the time lunch is over I decide their not losers but outcasts.

Last class is chemistry. Then I can go home. I swear school couldn't be longer.  For this class they don't give me an introduction and I'm quite grateful.  But still, everyone knows me and wants me to sit by them.  I see Peter, but I also see the seat next to his has someone in it. I sigh and sit next to the same boy from earlier that I ran into.

"Oh hey! I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Chance." He tells me.

He's nice. And he was nice to me before he knew me.

"Chyann. But you probably already know that." And I grin my small human grin.

He laughs and I can tell he wants to ask me about what he heard. But doesn't and I'm grateful.  I like him.  And I really like how he's not pressuring me into talking.

I smile and feel very happy with my new school and position. The teacher who I know as Mr. Iroqan begins the class, something about science. I'm not sure. I take out some paper and begin to listen, but eventually he looses my interest and I zone out.

Soon my paper is filled with doodles and I begin to pay attention again. Looking at the clock I realize I only blanked out for 15 minutes. Not too bad. But when I look at the chalk board which is covered in un readable words I sigh.

"Here." Chance slides me a piece of paper. Some notes he was taking.

"Thanks." I say and he nods.

I begin to copy the notes and take new ones. It's a long process.

"Miss Chyann. What is that you're reading?" Mr. Iroqan asks, bringing everyone's attention to me.

"Oh! I missed something and Chance is letting see what it was." I hope that will work. And it does.

"Ok, thank you Chance." He finishes and continues ranting about who knows what.

He finally is interrupted and is forced to let us go when the bell rings. And we all rush out into the hallway which is now filled with students running towards their friends, and lockers.  I rush down the stairs, down the hall and another set of stairs and again down another hall before I find my locker.

In all the people, I'm able to unlock my lock with a technique I call the 'glitch trick'.  Where I grab something and teleport it into my other hand.  It works, like always and I open my locker and begin to take my books out.  All around me people chatter and laugh.

This was great. And it reminds me of my old school.  It puts me at peace.  I feel great and I actually enjoy writing this book again.

Also I realized that Cheshire talks to Peter in one of the chapters earlier. That won't be him and I'll edit it so it's not.
