Chapter 21: Name: Alaska, Ability: Necromancer, Level: 6.2

Everyone but Gabriel and Emma, were all outside swimming and playing in the ocean. They were happy, having fun. Me, Carter, and Charles were the only ones not swimming. We were relaxing on the outdoor deck. I could then hear the sliding glass door open behind us, I turn around to see Gabriel walkout with bags in his hands.

"Hey, could you guys help Me and Emma very quick? We have a lot of groceries."

Carter gets up. "Sure, I'll help." He said.

I get up as well. "I'll help out too."

Charles was asleep, we didn't bother waking him up. We go inside and Gabriel wasn't kidding. There were groceries on the counters and the floor. Carter and I then begin to help Gabriel and Emma with the groceries.

20 minutes later

"Finally," said Gabriel. "We are done, and this will last us for a bit."

Yes, finally done. It took us a bit with four people if it was only one person could have taken more than an hour. Now finished Carter, Emma, and I head outside and sit down back on the outdoor deck. Gabriel was still inside. Once settled down, I could see Collin walking up towards the deck. He grabs a towel drys off a bit and opens the sliding glass door, once he did he talked directly to Gabriel.

"Gabriel, can I talk to you for a bit?"

"Um...sure come on in."

Collin enters and closes the door behind him, I was somewhat nervous since those two hate each other guts. I get ready for anything that might happen.

7 minutes later

It's been a while and I'm getting really nervous now. I get up and slowly open the glass door. Once opened I could hear them finishing up whatever it was they were talking about.

"Promise me, Gabriel. Promise me." Said Collin.

"I-I promise, but are you sure about what your about to do? If you do it, We can't-"

Gabriel then looks at me, Collin turns around. They stop their conversation the moment they saw me. Collin then turns back towards Gabriel and extends his arm out to shake hands with Gabriel. Gabriel extends his arm out and shakes his hand. Whatever it was they were talking about, it was important. Collin then turns around and walks out the door leading back outside. I walk towards Gabriel to see if he was hurt, there were no marks.

"Gabriel, what were you two discussing?" I want to see if he will tell me. But judging by Gabriel's face of how serious he looked, I knew right then he wasn't going to say anything.

"It's nothing Alaska, nothing." Gabriel smiled and walked past me outside to join everyone else.

I stand in the kitchen for a bit, take a deep breath then walked back outside. Once outside I sit down and let the warm sun hit my skin. I can feel the cool breeze go through my hair. I enjoy and take in everything happening.

45 minutes later

"Hey everyone! Come inside I got lunch all finished." Said Gabriel.

I must have fallen asleep, I didn't even hear Gabriel go inside to make lunch. I get up and begin to head inside. Once in I could smell the food, it smelled like chicken. Once I could get a view on what it was, it was chicken, but it looked different.

"Gabriel, what is this?" I said.

"Chicken Cordon Bleu." He responded.

I grab a plate, a fork, and a knife. I sit down at the table with everyone else and begin to cut into the chicken. While cutting a creamy white goo began to come out of the chicken. Once I cut a piece I examine the food. There was chicken as an outer layer, on the inside it was stuffed with cheese which must have been the white goo, and ham. I take a bite. I close my eyes and savor the flavor. This food tasted like heaven. Gabriel then sat down with everyone else and began to eat as well. Looking at everyone, they were happy. I knew everyone was happy with the big smiles on their faces. I was happy as well and smiled a real smile. Something I haven't done in a long time.
