Chapter 22, Season One Finale (1 of 3): Name: Miguel, Ability: Kinetic Energy, Level: 5.1

Three weeks and four days is how long we've been at Ben's beach house. Mini-Term was coming up, this is a time where students can select a class at another school and work in that class for a month. Gabriel, Emma, Amira, Aurora, and Carter were all going to the same place although I'm unsure where. I decided to go to another school called Lincoln. They have a knowledge competition program I was interested in called Knowledge Bowl that seemed fun. Alaska, Collin, Charles, and Lynn were going to an Art class program by a Glass Museum. We selected these classes online on the school website. We finished sign ups yesterday, today we will be having another group meeting on how to solve the issue at hand. Amira and Collins issue that the rest of us got stuck in the middle of. But right now, Collin, Amira, Alaska, and Charles were going to town to get somethings. I was outside on the deck while everyone was saying goodbye while I was resting. They left and someone came outside I turn to see Emma and Gabriel walkout.

"Hey, Miguel." Said Gabriel.

"Hey." I said back.

Gabriel and Emma then walked down towards the beach walking where the water was washing ashore and walking beside each other heading off. I don't know what they are doing or talking about, but now I want to lay down and sleep. Another meeting to me seems pointless, we've already had five during the time we've been here and still don't have a solution. I honestly don't see a way out, but I'm sure I'll be proven wrong here one of these days. While sitting outside Carter, Aurora, and Lynn come outside as well.

"Hi, Miguel." Said Lynn.

"Hey." I said back, which is what most of my responses are.

"So, what are your thoughts?" Said Lynn.

I knew what she was talking about, the whole Collin and Amira situation. "I don't know, the fact that we still don't have a solution to what is happening is actually pretty worrisome."

"Now hold on," said Carter. "We don't have a solution yet, but we have to be getting close to one."

"But what if we aren't even close at all, one of these days we are just going to have to go back to SAMI and what then, we won't have anything planned. Might as well just wave the white flag." I said.

"No," said Aurora. "Not yet, until we've run out of ideas, we are not giving up yet."

"Whatever, Mini-Term is coming up don't have to worry about SAMI for another month sounds good to me." I said.

Everyone then went silent, no one had anything to say now. Carter began to speak.

"I think we will find a way, eventually you'll see-"

BAM BAM BAM

Someone was knocking on the door very aggressively. We all get up and head inside, once inside we could hear a voice on the other side of the front door.

"COME ON OUT! THERE IS NO USE HIDING ANYMORE! I KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE!"

Carter began to whisper to all of us, "Guys, does anyone know who that is?"

"No." We all responded whispering.

"What do we do?" Said Lynn. "Everyone who is super strong are gone, Charles, Collin, Alaska, and Gabriel."

"We'll just have to wait for them to return." Said Aurora.

"When?!" Said Lynn still whispering. "He might just break down the door and attack us by then."

BAM BAM BAM

"I KNOW YOUR IN THERE! GET OUT HERE!"

While the guy was screaming a hand grabbed me from behind, I turn around ready to fight. I stop when I realize it was Gabriel and Emma, they returned. Gabriel then begins to whisper.
