VII. BILL'S GARAGE

CALLIE MET her friends at Bill's house the next day. Bill had put up a map of Derry on the wall, as Ben helped to set up the projector. They planned to discuss more about Ben's research, and the clown.

Callie took a seat on the ground next to Eddie, who shuffled to make space for her. Neither noticed the glare Richie gave to the back of Eddie's head.

"L-look. That's where Georgie disappeared." Bill pointed to an X marked 'storm drain'. There's the Iron Works and the Black Spot. Everywhere IT happens, it's all connected by the sewers."

Bill continued, "And they all meet up at-"

"The Well House." Ben nodded, following along.

"It's in the house on Neibolt Street." Stanley said.

"You mean the creepy ass house that all the junkies and hobos like to sleep?" Richie asked.

"Go there often?" Callie spoke, raising an eyebrow at Richie.

    Richie scoffed, flipping her off.

Eddie took a puff of his inhaler, causing Callie to rest a hand on his back as Richie glared slightly.

"I hate that place," Beverly said, "It always feels like someone's watching me."

"That's where I saw it." Eddie breathed through soft whimpers. "That's where I saw the clown."

"That's w-were it lives." Bill said, causing Eddie to take another deep puff of his inhaler.

"I can't imagine anything wanting to live there." Stanley spoke.

Eddie stood up abruptly, causing Callie's hand to fall from his back. "Can we stop t-talking about this?" He stuttered, "I can barely breath. It's summer. I'm having a fucking asthma attack. I'm not doing this." He ripped the map down, dropping it to the ground.

"What the hell? Put the map back." Bill told the boy, as Eddie shook his head quickly.

    The projector clicked.

They all looked from Eddie to it. Pictures of the Denbrough family popped up, changing quickly with each click.

   "What's going on?" Callie spoke.
