Manik- Aaahhhh mom please leave me....
I swear this time it was not my fault.... I didn't do anything...... please

Nyonika- Ohh really then it was Mukti's fault that the newly appointed teacher was fired from her job....am I right Mukti...

Mukti- Mom we didn't do anything ask Cabir.... Right Cabir...

Cabir- ye.. yes aunty we didn't do anything... Right Dhruv....

Dhruv- yes yes aunt........

He was cut off by nyonika-

Nyonika- shut upp all of you....u people didn't do anything then who did...
Ramesh call the girl who sits beside Mukti now....
And Dhruv you are in another section how do you know about it... Are your eyes x-ray machines that you could scan through the wall....and what are you doing here I didn't called you and Aliya.
Both of you move to your classes....

Cabir was trying to control his laughter after hearing what Nyonika said to Dhruv but he failed miserably and received a glare from her which made his mouth shut....

Dhruv- Sorry aunty we just accompanied them. We'll leave now....

And they both ran away.... leaving a cursing Manik behind....

Manik- mom Mukti and Cabir didn't do anything.... Even they can leave ......

Mukti- mom we were standing in punishment cause we were talking when Bhai entered....

Cabir- yes aunty we had our own share in this it was not entirely Manik's fault...

Nyonika smiled seeing their honesty and attempt to save each other....but hide it quickly masking a poker face...

They all heard a knock and nyonika asked the person to enter...

Nandini- ma'am did you called for me....

Nandini sounded nervous, Manik could see it on her face, he cursed himself for landing even her in the situation....

Nyonika- yes Nandini, I wanted the details of the drama created by Manik on that day ... Completely true, you don't need to be afraid of anyone.....

Nandini- ma'am actually that day.........

Nandini narrated everything to nyonika excluded the fact that how Manik entered in the class..... Later she added

Nandini- ma'am it was completely the fault of Mrs Rai, she crossed her limits. No one has the right to demean anyone's self respect or even question the teachings of their parents.....
They were no where at fault, anyone in place of Manik would have reacted like he did.....sorry ma'am if I spoke too much... But I couldn't control , it was about someone's dignity.....

Nyonika- it's completely fine my child.... Thank you for your information..or Manik would have not told me....

Manik- mom...

Nyonika goes and hugs Mukti and asks if she's ok for which she nods her head.

Nyonika- I'm proud of you Manik... I know you'll always protect your family but try to control your anger....

Manik- yes mom I will....

Nyonika- now you all move back to your classes...

They all move out ..
Mukti hugs Nandini....

Mukti- thanks the way you explained everything to mom was really great or else she might have punished Bhai Jaan....

Nandini- it's alright Mukti.... I am your friend right.. so what are friends for...

Both smiled at each other....
And Manik and Cabir admired the new bond....
However our Manik was only admiring Nandini.....and she gained more respect in his heart for herself.....

Later that day

It was a free period. Mukti and Cabir went to meet dhruliya and our Malhotra was trying to talk to our very own studious Murthy, who was busy doing her assignments.

Manik- Umm Nandini would you like to come to a party, fab 5 is doing this weekend....you may call your friends too....

Nandini gave a glance in his direction...

Nandini- don't u know that Nandini Murthy never does party, it's not my thing.... anyway thanks for asking.

Manik- are you serious, I am inviting you to the fab 5 party and you are not interested....you didn't do party even for once in your life....

Nandini - no and I m not interested.

Manik thought to grab her attention by teasing her....

Manik- ohh.. may God help your poor boyfriend to survive with such a boring bookworm...

Nandini's head jerked in his direction

Nandini- what! Which boyfriend... I don't have any boyfriend you idiot I'm not like you...

Manik- ohh... then he must have left you being jealous of these books of yours....

Nandini- I never had a boyfriend...

Manik- how is that even possible that such a beautiful girl and has no boyfriend...

Nandini blushed hearing his compliment

Nandini- I'm not interested in relationship's...

Manik-That's good you are saved for the best. Do you have any sister, I would love to make her my girlfriend...sweet simply without any attitude just like you.....you are not interested...god what to do now...

Nandini- I have two brothers, want them..

Manik- Mann you are really difficult, now u have 2 brothers even....

Nandini- yeah! And including all my relatives and cousins I have 19 brothers... I'm very lucky on Raksha Bandhan Day.....
She leaves a dreamy sigh ... Thinking about the gifts....

Nandini turned back and continued writing, smiling.

Manik saw her innocence and smiled ...
