"Who did it land on?" Katie comes leaping over, Coke soaked dish towel still clutched in her hand. Her eyes are directed to one person. Buzzcut flicks her eyes down to the bottle, a smirk on her lips, and Katie's eyes follow suit. A smile starts to spread from her mouth and soon her whole presence is glowing. My eyes train back on the bottle again. It's undoubtedly, directly, conclusively pointing to a certain blonde-haired, pale-skinned, beige silk vest-wearing girl. I dare to look at her face, only to find her already looking back. Her eyes flit over my face as if trying to decipher a reaction from me. I decide to not give her the pleasure of knowing my emotions. Not give away that my heart is currently swinging from my ribcage, bursting to be let out. Not show how my breath has quickened significantly. Not convey how I'm scared to stand up in case my legs give out beneath me like jelly. The left corner of her mouth twitches up in an almost sorry smile.

"Okay spin again then Alice." One of the undistinguishable boys states, oh so casually.

"WhAt!" I can almost feel the daggers in Katie and Buzzcut's words.

"Well they can't go together can they."

"And why the fuck is that Peter?" I glance up timidly to see Katie posture agressive and, to be honest, frighteing. Her arms are crossed tightly atop her chest, the towel abandoned on the floor. She leans on one leg, her hips cocked at an angle. I know from experience that nothing good comes from this pose. Peter should really shut his mouth, but of course, he doesn't.

"Well," he pauses, clearly trying to choose his words carefully. "They're two girls. It should be a guy and a girl." A scoff comes from Katie.

"You really don't think that two girls could get up to just as much fun in that pantry as a guy and a girl?" My cheeks sear and I avert my eyes from everyone, especially her

"No- I just- What I'm- Well- they're not gay." Peter finally splutters out. Katie opens her mouth again, retort at the ready, but it's not needed.

"We could be." Those three words send chills up and down my body.

"But you're just not are you."

"How do you know that." He seems almost speechless for a second.

"So are you gay?"

"Maybe, maybe not." God, why does she play with me like this? "I'm not saying I am or I'm not, I'm just making a point that you cant make a broad statement like that as sometimes it won't apply." Peter leans back, defeated, maybe?

"I still don't think you should go in together. Two girls in seven minutes in heaven, that's just not right." Okay, now he was starting to piss me off.

"What?"

"I mean the fucking point of the game, the fucking reason it was even invented was so guys like me could get their dick sucked once in a while without having to worry about a girl's fucking feeling. Having two girls in there would just be messy, I bet you two would start crying and shit. Too many emotions." That's it.

I've had enough of Peter's misogynistic opinions for now. Getting to my feet, he stops talking, finally. Glaring him straight in the eyes I hope he can see the fire building behind them. He recoils slightly as if suddenly being exposed to a monster that has always been lurking close by but never came out of the shadows. I guess I am that monster. Satisfied with his reaction, I turn away from his weasely face.

"Eden, will you do me the honours." My hand is outstretched to her. I don't know where all this confidence is coming from. Some of it is pure rage, but I'm sure most of it is pent up emotions from months of silently admiring from afar, always too scared to act on my feeling. She looks between me and my hand. For a second she doesn't move and disappointment and hurt flood me - but that's just for a second. Her finger interlock with mine as he stands up, never breaking our eye contact. A childish grin is pulling at her features but I can see her trying to suppress it.

I turn on my heels, our fingers still intertwined as I pull her with me. I make a beeline for the pantry and before I know it, the door is locking behind us.
