Chapter 9-alone time

Jasper had packed us a couple sandwiches, a bottle of lemonade, an apple but before I could tell him he grabbed a green one-he knows so much about me and I barley know anything about him. well that's going to change today, jasper also packed a surprise dessert.

"Come on Ellie, I have the perfect spot" I bounced down the stairs really excited.

"lets go!!!"

jasper laughed and grabbed my hand, pulling me outside and across the yard into the woods.

"Jasper, where are we going?"I asked a little scared, the last two times I've been in the woods bad things have happened.

"hey don't feel afraid... I won't hurt you Ellie"

jasper had stopped and stared at me. I took a deep breath and slowly nodded "I know, sorry it's just that.... I'm scared of the woods now" I whispered jasper pulled me into a hug.

"nothing will happen, I promise"

I nodded and we continued walking, I was squeezing Jasper's hand tighter scared he was going to let go and something was going to happen. "okay, close your eyes" jasper whispered behind me now when did he get there? I tensed up and he rubbed my arm.

"please?" he begged,

I nodded and closed my eyes.

I did trust jasper, but..... I never told anyone this but sometimes jasper does things that make me think of that night... like he was there or something. we walked for a couple minutes then stopped.

"Jasper, can I open my eyes now?"

No reply

I started feeling my body shaking and knew I was seconds from hyperventilating.

"jasper?" my voice cracked. then I felt someone grab my hand and I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Ellie! it's me!!"

My eyes snapped open to see jasper staring at me wide eyes, I looked around we were in the woods but it was like a island. there was a beautiful water fall and off to the side I saw a table with the basket jasper brought, that's why he didn't answer me when I called.

"maybe we should go back?"

I shook my head "no.. sorry I panicked" jasper had a worried expression on his face as he gently grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the table "you know there a spot over there where its not in the shade, right?" jasper shrugged "I didn't want the sun in your eyes"

We sat down and just stared at each other until curiosity got the best if me like always.

"how did we start dating?"

jasper grabbed my hand and looked at the water fall "Bella was suppose to drive you home one day but Edward took her home early..... so you decide to wait in the parking lot for Charlie to get off work, I was waiting for the rest of my family to come out and saw you sitting"

he turned and looked me in my eyes "it was very hard to convince you to let me give you a ride home"

I giggled and nodded " sorry... mike always threaten to kill me if he ever saw me talking to you" I notice jasper tense up.

"anyway, we talked in the car and every since then I started giving you rides home and we got closer and closer" I smiled that seemed like a happy story "when is your birthday?" I asked a random question but for some reason jasper let go of my hand and stood up angry.

"jazzy?"

But he just started pacing

I stood up and grabbed his arm stopping him "what did I say?" jasper started shaking and he turned and faced me.

I stepped back suddenly scared "ja-jasper?"

He growled, grabbed my arms and forced me against the rock wall baring his teeth at me almost like a wild dog.

"Please jasper.... you promised you wouldn't hurt me.." I whispered to scared to talk any higher "w-whats wr-wrong jasper?" he only growled, then he was gone out of my face.

I looked around and saw jasper standing on top of the WATERFALL!!!! oh my god, what the hell is up with jasper?!?!?!

"jasper?!"

"I don't remember my birthday!" he yelled down to me, I don't know if I should be scared or if I should be worried about getting jasper down safe.

"h-how did you get up t-there?"

I barley saw jasper smile then launch himself down. I screamed and ran to him thinking maybe I could catch him but he hit the ground before I got there.

"noo!!!!!"

.....But he stood up without a scratch on him "h-how?-" I stuttered. jasper smiled and stepped forward "you know how I did it..... all you got to do is remember" I shook my head "I-I cant" jasper stepped forward again

"I can't help you, if you don't try"

I closed my eyes, forcing myself to remember something...ANYTHING!!!!! I gasped and stepped back.

"Danielle, I'm only telling you this because I love you, but you have to promise to keep it between you,me and my family" I nodded "of course jazzy, you know anything you tell me stays between us" jasper smiled and stepped backwards out of the shade and into the sun.

I gasped and I started seeing thousand of diamonds sparkling off his body, this can't be real " w-what are you?"

I stepped away from jasper, the was the real question what was he?!!! jasper smiled "what did you remember?"

I took a deep breath "what are you?"
