Scarlet's point of view
I was sleeping peacefully . . . until Phillip woke up and realized it was dawn, so he took it upon himself to wake me up.
"SCARLET WAKE UP!" Phillip shook me and my eyes flew open.
"WHAT?!?"i snapped, that's when I saw it.
The Fire Falls had turned a fiery red, I gasped at it's beauty.
Phillip offered me a hand I took it and smiled, I brushed the dirt of my clothes and walked over to the falls.
" it's so beautiful"i said "yeah it is, thanks for telling me about the Fire Falls!"he thanked me which made me smiled "no problem"
My gaze settled on some thing moving in the distance, I knew what it was I just didn't know why it was here.
"Is that- "Will!" I cut him off before he could finish, he grabbed my hand and he started to go back to the narrow path that led us here but I stopped him "why are we heading back? it's just Will!" I said " oh it's just Will . . . whose a HUMAN!" he snapped.
I almost forgot about the past between shape shifters and humans, they didn't like each other because the first king was killed by an evil shape shifter, after that the humans exiled the shape shifters to the Oakley forest where they haven't been seen from in a while.
I sighed and realized Phillip was right I couldn't be friends with a human, I nodded my head and he led me back to the path and then home.
We got there at nightfall, I said goodbye to Phillip.
I walked into my living room and collapsed on the sofa and fell asleep.
