Little: Jungkook
Age Range: 0-2
Slowly opening my eyes I am met with a dark room, the only source of light cascading in from the cracked door. My mind feels fuzzy but I try to get up and go downstairs. Not a good idea. You see, when I get that fuzzy feeling, it means that I am somewhere in between headspaces. As soon as I roll over I fall off the bed and come face to face with the floor. The shock and pain immediately sent me over the edge.
Jin POV
I was finishing up breakfast when I hear an ear piercing wail. I immediately run upstairs and find the source of the wails in Jungkook's room. I open the door to reveal a red-faced Jungkook crying laying on his back in the ground. I immediately go to him, picking him up. After settling him in my hip I bounce on
my heels whispering sweet nothings in his ear. His crying dies down and he starts to smile at me when I make a face at him. I walk towards the bed and lay him down, then I reach for the changing supplies which are conveniently in a dresser right next to his bed. After giving him his bunny stuffie to keep him distracted I get to work.
3rd Person POV
While Jungkook chews on the ear of the stuffie Jin changes him into a diaper and a onesie that is green with little dinosaurs all over it. Jin carries him into the living room where everyone else is sitting.
"Omo, Kookie!" shouted Hoseok as he ran towards the two and took Jungkook bringing him into his own arms. Jungkook squealed at the sudden movement and started laughing when Hoseok flew him around making airplane noises.
"Ok Hoseok, I think someone might be getting hungry, hmm?" Taehyung said as he walked to the kitchen to prepare a bottle for the little who was currently in the middle of the floor trying to eat his feet.
While everyone was looking at some meme that Jimin found they didn't notice the little had crawled away. Taehyung came back with a warm bottle a few minutes later but was met with only five members in the living room. "Where is Jungkook?" Taehyung asked, opting to use his full name because this could be quite a serious situation.
"What are you talking about? He is right there-" Namjoon stops his sentence when he too, saw Jungkook was nowhere to be found.
The latter was actually exploring the backyard at the moment. The door was already open, courtesy of Hoseok, but Jin will yell at him later. Jungkook was interested in the red picnic table at the moment and decided it would be fun to crawl under. So naturally, that is exactly what he did.
Meanwhile, inside the house, the only word that could describe the scene was panic. Taehyung and Jimin searching the bedrooms, Hoseok checking the living room, Jin looking in the kitchen, and Namjoon looking everywhere else. As Yoongi turned his eye caught on the open backyard door.
He looked outside and saw the little under the picnic table looking around like it was the coolest thing in the world. Yoongi was already fuming about the open door that he didn't think before stomping over to Jungkook, scaring the aforementioned making him jump up and hit his head on the bottom of the picnic table.
For a second the world was still Yoongi staring at Jungkook and vice verse. The next second Jungkook's face crumpled and if you think you have heard a loud cry, you should hear what happened next.
As Jungkook started screaming big, fat tears rolled down his cheeks as he reached for his Daddy. Yoongi immediately ran to him scooping hid baby up in his arms. The younger's screams did not quiet though if anything they got louder.
The best of Bangtan rushed outside at the noise and we're immediately met with a crying Jungkook and a very frazzled Yoongi.
Jin immediately took Jungkook from Yoongi's tired arms and went inside with the members trailing behind him.
Once inside Jin settled Jungkook so that his head was in the crook of Jin's elbow. He teased the little's lips with the nipple and he opened his mouth to start sucking on the bottle.
Jungkook's cries vanished and were replaced with gentle cooing and suckling noises. All of the caregivers let out a breath that they didn't know they were holding.
Today had been chaotic, to say the least. The members watched with heart eyes as the maknae slowly fell asleep in the eldest's arms.
