6: Darkened Skys

Noticing that I was quiet, he said," Hey, it's your birthday right, so why don't we get those birthday wishes in check, shall we?"

"Okay, but only if we can make yours come true as well."

"Already done, I've got the only thing I have ever asked for in life and that is for someone to love me just as much as I love them"

I blushed and looked away from him. Never have I thought that anyone, nevertheless Liam freaking Thompson, would say anything that sweet to me. In my mind, I see myself as an insecure little she-wolf that has abandonment issues.

But now that I have found my mate, the one person who would know who I was inside and out, the one person that I knew wouldn't leave or hurt me in any way. Now I knew who I was, at least who I was becoming.

Yes, I understand that it's been only a few minutes that I found out who my mate is and that I only know him for a day. But somehow I know that I'm changing and not in a bad way but in a good way and I know that the person right in front of me is mine and mine alone and that for me says it all.

Liam looked at me with a small smile on his face and said, "Hey, what's going on, that beautiful mind of yours?"

I was about to say nothing, but I decided against it, I mean why hide my thoughts right?

" I was just thinking about today and how many things happened in such a small amount of time. It seems unreal, and I guess I'm afraid that if I close my eyes that somehow in some way this whole day would be gone. And I don't want it to, I want to find out who I am and what I can be and as selfish as it may seem letting u go seems impossible."

"You know that, that won't happen, right? No matter what happens I will always find my way to you even if it means crossing oceans even galaxy's if I have to. I only know you for a day but when you look at me with those adorable emerald green eyes I feel like tearing mountains for you and for me not really seeing my parents and all, that's a pretty big deal in my department"

I smiled warmly at him and, as if my stomach had to have a say in something, growled astronomically loud.

I blushed but Liam just chuckled I got up and said, "Well, am just going to...UMM... Check on the pizza delivery, then?"

Liam nodded his head and said, "Yea, and I am going to wake those two mini termites up before it arrives, otherwise we will have a really tough time with them."

I laughed shaking my head and walked outside onto the front porch, dialling the pizza place once more, as I was waiting for them to pick the phone two things caught my eye:
One : there was definitely a huge storm coming and a bad one of that.
Two : I saw a car parked directly opposite the road, but I'm sure it's just one of the pack members that dad said we're watching the house.

I waved at the car and to my relief the car's light flickered on and off twice the first one slowly and the second time quickly, I nodded now knowing that my thoughts were correct for you see in my pack our members in a way of showing their presence especially in a car we make the lights that way just to show that we are together and not enemies.

Too busy concentrating on them, I didn't notice that there was a person at the end of the phone line.

"Oh, hi, sorry, I just wanted to make sure that my delivery is on its way? UMM... Yeah, that's the one yes, thank you, enjoy your evening."

I put down the phone and with one last glanced at my surroundings especially the darkened sky and I went inside. As I got in, I shut the door and locked it, and walked into the living room.

"It looks like a huge storm is on its way, so I don't think you guys will be going home tonight, and the pizza is on its way so at least that's sorted, so I suggest that we all go take a shower and meet down here in about an hour or so? Oh, and while you are at it, do you mind closing and making sure that the windows and curtains are closed? I will lend you guys some cloths as well, so don't worry about that."

They all nodded and both Jarred and Ash walked upstairs towards my dad's bathroom and the guest bathroom while Liam walked over to me.

"Hey, haven't told them about us just, yet, I thought maybe during the movie we could? You know, once we are all settled and all... I... I... hope that's okay with you?", he said, sounding unsure of himself.

I took his hand in mine and kissed his cheek, "It sounds perfect, come on, let's get ready"

Hand in hand we walked up the stairs gathering cloths from my father's bedroom, I handed them to Jarred and Liam and showed they which bathrooms they could use while I took Ash to my room and gave her some of my cloths to dress in.

"Here you go these are super comfy and one of my favourites, you can use my bathroom everything you need is inside"

As I turned away to look for some of my cloths, I was supposed when Ash spoke, "Hey... UMM ... I was just wondering if you know... since Jarred and I are the son and daughter of your dad's beta, I was wondering who you are going to choose since you're next in line."

I thought for a moment and once I came to my answer I looked at her in the eye and said, "Well your brother could be a good asset, but I can already tell he is going to be a joker and won't really take something as serious as being a beta so if I had to choose it would be you"

Shock flashed across Ash's face, and she smiles rapping me into a bear hug, I laughed at this and hugged her back. I looked out my window and stared at the darkened skies, a symbol of what the future may bring, but I knew that after everything that has happened it will be okay.
