Twisted Episode Five

    They were all shocked by the noise of the gun shot. Jamal held on to Billy firmly while Jack covered Akeelah. Janet and Sierra just held on to the wall in shock. The cops quickly brought out their guns and traced where the sound came from. They saw a man from a far distance building parking a sniper. They realized at ones that he was the one who shot the gun. The head of the cops,Mr Mike quietly lead the other cops out of the hospital and quickly got into the building where the killer was. They urgently got the attention of the S.W.A.T to help them. The S.W.A.T did not get there on time so the cops quietly surround d building and entered through different entering as they try to cover up. The killer did not notice them as he calmly walked through the back stairs. He kept walking until he heard a quiet murmur coming from the ground floor. He immediately ran back upstairs and dropped his gun. He got so confused on how to escape. Mr Mike later got to him from behind.

"You have no choice now than to quietly surrender yourself. Any silly move you make might make you end your life here."

"There are thousands of option better than surrending myself. You pointing a gun at me does not mean it over and you win. You don't know how smart I am."

"I warned you already. But you seem to be stubborn than I thought."

Some other cops joined their boss as they all point different guns at him. The killer smiled and before they could notice,he already jumped to the next building. Mr Mike luckily sight is action and shot him. They all moved closer to see if the killer was down but was disappointed to see him standing and waving at them even though the bullet shot by Mr Mike hit his left hand.

"Demn,we lost him. This is ridiculous. I thought I shot him on the head."

"But we tried our very best sir." One of the cops said as he put his gun back to his suit.

"That best was not enough. We had the chance to get him but we were to slow and careless." Mr Mike yelled angrily.

"We lost the chance now but we won't again. Am so sure of that."

"We better not because the more we miss,the more innocent ones die and get missing." Mr Mike said as he walked away.

The S.W.A.T came right as Mr Mike and his groups left the building. He looked at the boss who lead them and insulted him angrily. He went back to the hospital and meet the emergency clearly the manager's body.

"Did you get him?" Jack asked curiously

"We had the chance at our finger tips but we lost it. He escaped luckily but I promise not any more. This was the only chance he would ever had." Mr Mike promised

"That idiot as caused a lot of damage. Mr Clinton was about to tell us all that he knows. Am so sure he knew it was Billy but I just want him to prove it." Jamal said looking disappointed.

"You don't seem to be angry at her. She was the only one u held and covered when that gun shot was heard. Why did u protect her?" Angela asked.

"I don't want her dead yet because she is the only one we know for now that can tell us about all this mess and get us to Rhianna."

"Let have her from here. She would be in our custody until we sort things out." Mr Mike said as he held Billy and had her hands handcuffed.

"I swear with my life that I know nothing about all these incidents. I was making another call entire and not about Rhianna. I don't know about this. Am innocent,you have to believe me please. Billy cried out in argony.

"I believe her,she knows nothing about all these. Jamal you have to believe her and don't punish the innocent. Jack please let her be. Akeelah you have to stop them for God's sake. Billy is innocent." Angela said looking heartbroken.

They all turn deaf ears to what she said as Billy was arrested and taken away. Akeelah was speechless as she left the ward with Sierra and Janet. Jamal and Jack followed behind.

"But to be sincere,we can't be sure about Billy. I don't think she knows all about this because she looks innocent." Jack whispered to Jamal.

"You can believe she is but I do not." Jamal whispered back.

"You are over reacting Jamal. Just because you are in love with Rhianna does not mean you should make her cry or put her in pains."

"If you think am over reacting then let me set Akeelah up and make her get kidnapped as well."

"Jamal you're crazy. Better don't do anything funny coz I will kill you if you try that."

"Then you can see how am feeling right now. I can kill Billy too for what she as done."

"You can't Jamal because you are not sure."

"I am far more sure. Am a thousand percent sure Jack. If you know you are not happy with this then fuck off. Don't ever approach me about this issue any more. And better go back and pick Angela up in the ward before she collapse there." Jamal shouted angrily as the got others attention.

Jack looked at Jamal as he walked away angrily. He couldn't believe it was the same Jamal he as been knowing that just shouted at him. He felt uneasy at ones as he walked back to the ward to see Angela.

"You don't have to come back for me. You all just made the devil use you. Billy is innocent,you know that for sure Jack. You know she is. How could you let them take her away like that. You guys have just damaged her name and identity. Few more hours now,the news would be seen every where that Billy is the criminal which you know it not true. I hate you all for what you just did." Angela said as she tears rolled down her cheek.

"I have no choice Angela. You have to believe me. Jamal is the one who the devil as used. He is already into Rhianna and can do anything for her. He is already crazy about all that is happening and is trying to block any distraction just to get her back." He said as he tried to help her up.

"Don't you dare touch me. Liar,now you are trying to push all the blames on him? He is your brother Jack. You are the real devil here. You are the crazy one here. I hate you Jack. I hate you." Angela screamed and walked out.

Jack felt so ashamed and disappointed. He couldn't control him self as he fell down on the chair beside him. He looked at Angela as she walked away and felt so disappointed.

They all went back home except Jack who was still in the hospital.

Just immediately they got home and the car stopped. Jamal came out still looking angry or horrified. He went straight to his room and shut the door. He was about to lock it with his key from behind when Angela banged in.

"I need some privacy. I wanna rest."

"You should shift the privacy because we have to talk now."

"I told you already,I need to rest and am not in the mood to talk to anyone." Jamal said as he held Angela and was about to throw her out.

"Am not leaving here until you listen to me Jamal. You need to calm down and let things be in other. You can't kill a fire with a fire. You can't rescue Rhianna the way you are acting. You will only make things worse."

"What do you know about how am feeling right now? Do you know how hard it is to forget someone? Do you how painful it is to lose someone."

"Someone is someone. You just met Rhianna,you don't know anything about her  or her family. Moreover,she is just a friend to you."

"No she is not."

"What do you mean." Angela asked looking curious.

"I................... You need to leave now please. I want to rest."

"Jamal,you love her?"

"I never said so."

"Then what is it you were about to say?"

"I................... Want to sleep."

Angela already noticed Jamal was lying. She looked at him as tears almost drop from her eyes. Jamal looked at her and notice she was not happy about what he wanted to say. Just then,Angela pulled the handle of the door so she can leave but Jamal pushed the door back and grabbed her. He held her from her waist and made her body rest on him. He then moved close to her slowly and...............
