I've borne the burden
On my shoulders,
I have chosen
What I'm meant to be,
Whatever it takes
I'll give all that is at stake,
Walk through the fire if need be
To test the steel in me,
I've fought the world alone
Heard them snicker behind me,
Insulting me when I'm unseen
But I don't care what they say,
I'll just have to jump through the potholes
The people dig along the way,
To scare me away
The world is teaching me,
To be more than I can be
The best version of me.
