I'm on my 4th month. It is December & I'm cold. I've been hungry with weird cravings & moody lately. At this point I'm ready for this baby to get out of me. Princeton & I go for our appointment today. We are going to find out the sex of the baby.
Me: ok, names?
I sat on my couch next to Princeton.
Prince: it is the 3rd on a Tuesday of December why are we talking about it now?
Me: cause we find out the sex today.
Jacob: if it's a boy name it Jacob or Prince.
Me: or JJ.
Prince: why?
Me: I don't know it just popped in my head. For a girl it could be Kim, Katharine, Tina, Catn....
I was cut off.
Prince: I see you want a girl.
Me: I do want a girl so i could do more stuff & be a role model, you get what I mean. He nodded. I continued, but I wouldn't care if it was a boy I just didn't put a lot of thought to it. I was going to leave that to you.
Prince: ok so if it's a girl, Katharine. I like that one.
Me: It could be Jacob if it's a boy.
Prince: we better go the appointment at 1:30 & it's 1:17.
Me: ok
We went to my Lexus. Well it's a rental until I get my mustang back. My mom took my mustang because she thinks it can stop me from having this baby. I told her she could have it for a while because it's dangerous for me having a baby. I think I'll buy the Lexus because it's more baby friendly. I'll just drive my mustang when I don't have the baby around.
Princeton hopped in the drivers seat.
Me: I wanted to drive.
He laughed at me then drove off. I really wanted to drive. I turned on the radio to a gospel station. Jamie Grace song Beautiful day played. I love her & this song. I sang along to the music.
Prince: Do you think that the baby will like us.
Me: what kind of question is that? Yes it'll like us, it should love me after carrying it around for so long.
We arrived at the doctors office. Princeton came around & opened my door. He helped me out of the car & we went into the office. He is such a gentlemen! We waited for 10 minutes then went back there.
The doctor soon came in.
Doctor: hi, how are you?
Me: hi, I'm fine.
Doctor: good, lets get started!
Princeton stood by me & held my hand. The doctor pulled up my shirt & put the gel on my stomach. It was cold & felt awkward. My doctor is a lady by the way & her name is Mrs. Jewel .
Doctor: alrighty, everything's looking good.
Prince: Thank God!!!!!!!!!
Doctor: Would you like to know the sex of the baby?
Me: yes ma'am.
I looked at the screen it was so beautiful. Seeing the baby's body was amazing. It's amazing how that is inside of me.
Doctor: ok...you're having a.....GIRL.
OMG!!! Tears of joy started falling down my eyes.
Me: I guess Katharine it is.
Prince looked so happy & amazed. He looked at me & kissed me. A full kiss, not a peck.
Prince: That's ours.
Doctor: so you guys have chosen a name?
Me: yep
Doctor: what type of birth are we doing.
Me: Natural, I can't have y'all cut this beautiful body.
Prince: No we can't have any thing happen to that body.
Me: you nasty.
We talked to the doctor about some more information. Then we had to go to another appointment. We have been taken parental classes. They give free pampers & milk formula. We have been learning breathing exercises. Today we are learning how to change & feed a baby. We also were working on this last week.
We got back in the car. The place was like 15 minutes away.
Me: can I drive?
Prince: noooo
Me: why can't I drive tho?
Prince: cause I want to drive for you.
I guess that was a good answer.
Me: Princeee I'm so happy!
Prince: I am too.
Me: are you sure you don't want Abby carrying this baby?
Prince: we always talked about having a family. I'm glad you're the one having my baby.
Me: yayyyyy.....we have to go shopping!
Prince: it'll have to be Thursday because I have practice tomorrow & I'm going out with Abby!
Me: you do know it will take more then 1 day to shop right?
Prince: yea.
Me: oh & my baby shower now I can just add pink & it's a girl to the invites.
I got out my phone & called Ms. Cael, she made they invites.
Me: Hey.....yes......it's a girl.....so pink....send them to the people on the list tomorrow....... ok.......bye
It's set. I even sent one to my mom even tho she probably not coming.
Me: prince it's set.....it's going to be outside in my huge backyard!
He stopped the car in the parking lot.
Prince: You can have what ever you want for this baby shower.... whatever you need I'll help you....I love you.
Then he kissed me again. He trying to make me have another baby or something. We basically made out. Then I pulled away.
Me: I love you too
I know for a fact that he loves me! We might not even be together, but we do love each other. He was my first. My first love & the first I made love to. The only person I made love to. That is hard to get over! I was having his baby. His first baby.
