【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ １２】

Hearing a loud beeping sound, Seungmin smashes the snooze button, not wanting to wake up. Already awake, Felix, who is beside him, begins to shake Seungmin.

"Wake up. We have school today," Felix yawns, rubbing his eyes.

Seungmin's eyes shot open.

"It wasn't just a dream? Hyunjin really is my match?" Seungmin asks, not wanting to face reality.

Slowly, Felix nods. In return, Seungmin grabs his blankets and pull them over his head.

"This can't be happening," Seungmin says, remembering the previous day.

"Hey, Seungmin," Felix calls to the boy who just came out of the shower.

"Yeah?" Seungmin says, walking over to Felix, who was sitting criss-cross on the bed.

"Have you seen some of these rules?" Felix asks, pointing at the letters from The Choosing.

"I know some of them from the project, why?" Seungmin responds, taking a seat on the bed.

"Since you know them, I hope that you'll realize that you're going to have all the same classes with Hyunjin for the rest of this semester," Felix says.

Seungmin's eyes widen, remembering that rule. He grabs the letter from Felix and proceeds to read more of the rules.

"What is this bullshit?" Seungmin exclaims.

"I thought you said you knew the rules," Felix teases, nudging at Seungmin.

Seungmin rolls his eyes and begins to read aloud some of the rules.

"After high school, the pair must move in together and must share a bed. The pair must get married within at least 7 years. You can't break up, divorce, cheat or flirt with another. These actions will have immediate punishments that will be decided by the Council," Seungmin says.

Seungmin scans all the rules and groans in annoyance.

"I love The Choosing and all, but god fucking dammit. This is a lot. I HAVE TO FUCKING GET MARRIED? It doesn't help that my fucking pair is Hyunjin of all people. UGH!" Seungmin expresses in exasperation.

"It'll be okay. For now, let's sleep," Felix says, laying down onto the pillow and closing his eyes.

Seungmin looks over at Felix and smiles as he places the letter onto his nightstand

'I hope it will be...,' Seungmin thinks to himself as he turns the lights off.

"UGH. Lix, when do we get our new schedules?" Seungmin asks, beginning to walk over to the bathroom, where Felix already was.

"We get them after the morning assembly," Felix answers as he uses a towel to pat down his washed face.

Seungmin nods to let Felix know that he understood before proceeding to get ready for his... very long day.

"FELIX ARE YOU READY?" Seungmin screams at Felix as he began to put his shoes on.

"COMING!" Felix shouts back, running down the stairs.

Felix got off the stairs and ran to him, rushing to put his shoes on.

Seungmin crosses his arms.

"What took you so long?"

"Uh... Brownie was being needy?" Felix responds, not looking Seungmin in the eyes.

From behind Seungmin, a small bark could be heard and Brownie emerges.
