Two months since their letters arrived, Seungmin and Hyunjin had been making plenty of progress. The two warmed up to one another and their friends couldn't be any happier for them.
Seungmin and Hyunjin walk into their last class, talking about anything and everything. As they sit down, the teacher walks in.
"Okay, class. I hope you all have figured out what colleges you're applying or not applying for because they were supposed to be due today. However, I know that many of you probably forgot, so they are all due officially by the end of the week. Please take the time to consider your colleges and really think about what you want to do in the future. That's all the announcements I have for you. Now let's begin the lesson," their teacher says aloud.
"Fuck...," Seungmin and Hyunjin both say.
"Café after school with the others?" Seungmin asks.
"Yep. I'll message them," Hyunjin responds.
At the end of the school day, they all met up by the entrance of the school and made their way to the café. They all sat down and began to get busy filling out their college applications, as they all forgot to do it earlier.
"Fuck fuck fuck," Jisung exclaims.
The others all look at him.
"What's wrong, babe?" Minho asks, concerned for his boyfriend.
Jisung blushes as he replies, "I don't know what college to apply to. My parents want me to be in the medical field, but I want to go to an arts college."
"Ugh! Same with me!" Felix says in return.
Chan and Woojin see them all struggling, so they walk over to them.
"You know... neither of us went to college," Chan says.
"Wait- bUT aren't you like oLD?" Changbin says, mocking Chan.
Chan rolls his eyes.
"What I'm trying to say is... do what you want and not what others want you to do. It's your future," Chan advises.
Seungmin looks over at the two.
"But why didn't you guys go? You two were the student council president and Vice President. You both had the grades for it, the academics, the vocal, rap and dance talent...everything," Seungmin questions with genuine curiosity.
Woojin answers, "That we may have been... but this café is exactly what we wanted. We both had a conversation about what we wanted. Chan and I both love music, don't get us wrong, but after talking, we realized neither of us wanted to go to college. We wanted to settle early."
Chan holds his hand and adds, "It's not like we've entirely stopped music. It's still a passion, but on the side. You'll realize what's truly important to you when the time comes."
"Do any of you know what you guys are pursuing?" Woojin asks.
"Dance," Minho says, shocking Felix.
"YOU DANCE?!?" Felix asks.
"Yes, I do. In fact, I go to the Arts College 2 blocks from here for dance," Minho shrugs in response.
"THE ONE FOR THE EXTREMELY TALENTED?!?" Felix exclaims, mouth agape.
"Ow- bUT yeah... that one," Minho responds, wincing from the boy's loud tone.
Felix continues to bother Minho about the school as Jisung looks as if he's deep into his thoughts.
"Sung... you okay?" Seungmin asks, concerned.
"Yeah. I'm fine, but I think I know what college I'm applying for now," he responds, smiling.
