【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ ２１】

Hyunjin stops momentarily at the end of a random street to catch his breath from running for such an extensive amount of time. He was beyond baffled when Seungmin yelled at him to leave after the fiasco between the two strange people that Hyunjin's never met before. After being there to witness the interactions between his match and the older couple, he figured that they were Seungmin's parents. It was practically hinted at him with the resemblance between the two and Seungmin.

With that conclusion, Hyunjin bits his lips in concern, for that he remembers the resentment that the parents directed towards him and their negative reactions to when he mentioned he's Seungmin's match. He can only hope that Seungmin will be okay by himself because Hyunjin has a feeling that things aren't going to go well from this point on.

Hyunjin sighs from where he stands and looks around. Apparently, he ended up running all the way to the local shopping district. Hyunjin contemplates whether or not he should head home, but then again, from what Seungmin ordered, it was a total implication for him to go home and leave Seungmin be with his parents. He grimaces when he remembers that Kkami is still in Seungmin's house, but he knows that Seungmin will take care of him for now.

"So much for asking him out today...," Hyunjin mutters to himself in melancholy, thinking to himself of how in the world is he going to get the nerve to properly ask him out in a different time. He worries that he'll never find the perfect moment since he missed his chance today.

Hyunjin shakes the paranoia away and slaps his face a few times to get his mindset together. He had to keep pursuing if he really wants to be in a relationship with Seungmin. He had to tell Seungmin his feelings. Now is the time for Seungmin to know the truth. Hyunjin isn't going to give up his other dream.

As for now, he can only wait for Seungmin's word that everything will be back to normal before he can take the next step.

Seungmin lets out the fifth groan in the span of an hour as he stares blankly at his kitchen island. It is currently 7 AM, the day after his parents visited and he had to force Hyunjin to leave. After a heated conversation with his parents, Seungmin couldn't stop thinking about his father's last words. It repeatedly rang through his ears, plaguing his thought process.

Seungmin sighs tiredly from lack of sleep, he was too worried to try and get some rest. If Hyunjin or Felix saw him, they'd both yell at his ass for not sleeping.

He chuckles fondly at that thought, but the corners of his lips are quick to fall at the thought of Hyunjin. He feels terrible for yelling at him to leave the previous day, but he just had to get Hyunjin out of there before his parents were able to say anything else to him.

"If only he didn't say he was my match...," Seungmin murmured to himself. He internally sighs at yesterday's outcome, for he knew that he couldn't get upset at Hyunjin for revealing they were matched together. If he had consulted Hyunjin about his situation with his parents, then maybe they could've figured something out to prevent the truth from coming out, however, Seungmin knew that it would be impossible. His parents would've found out eventually, but Seungmin wished that they didn't find out...this way.

Just what is he going to do? Although his parents gave him two choices, it was really only one, given how demanding and authoritative they were in situations like these. Either he cut ties with Hyunjin or gets disowned.

Seungmin's heart sinks at the thought of his parents disowning him. He hoped that his parents would love him too much to ever think about leaving him...but now...he knew that his parent's love for him was far beyond anything that he figured.

On another thought, he knows that he can't fully leave Hyunjin. They are matched so they physically couldn't be broken apart by law, so he wondered how on earth are his parents devising a plan to separate them. Seungmin hates the thought of his parents hurting Hyunjin, he couldn't allow that. He had to protect Hyunjin from anything that they are planning.
