Lapis POV
The static energy was very hurtful to me. I felt each little spark travel through my entire body from my neck to the tips of my toes. The ringing throughout my hearing made it hard to understand what she was yelling at me, I knew I just wanted it to stop. The pounding of the aches in my head started to get worse as she reached closer to me, speaking and yelling louder. As her blurry shape finally touched my arm, I freaked. My hands went straight to her waist, throwing her off of me as I started to curl into a small ball. My voice started to crack as I kept mumbling to myself swears and pleads, even I knew it wasn't going to stop just like that.
After another minute or two, it started to calm down and I was hearing less of the ringing and my tears started to clear up from my sight, allowing me to now see the frightened girl sprawled across the floor as she stared. As I lifted up my head, she quickly scooted farther from me, clearing her throat as well as grabbing the nearby shirt, covering herself a bit. She seemed to be looking a little bit off from my eyes, so I guessed that it was my neck, my fingers dragging around the open wounds causing my breath to hitch a slight bit. I pulled my hand away, bringing it closer to my face to see how much damage I actually had done. I only saw my fingertips covered in a little bit of the red liquid, not too much to be worried about.
I started to look around for my clothes, soon finding them scattered around one area. I grabbed them, wrapping myself up in them before getting up. I started to walk to the door before I heard a small cry. I looked back to see her hugging her knees as she covered her face. "Don't leave me alone here... please." She mumbled in a saddened pitch. I took a step towards her before stopping mid-step. I started to walk backwards farther away, before turning and walking fast to the door, unlocking the code and left the room. I quickly closed the door, leaning up against it and groaning. I threw my clothes to the floor before stumbling up to my room. As I got to my room I planted myself onto my bed, curling up once again as I breathed deeply into my knees. My arms uncoiled from my legs to grab and tug the strands of loose hair sticking out, yanking my head sideways as I pulled downwards. Small chunks of my hair I pulled out in areas underneath the longer strands. After a little while of sitting there, I got up. Grabbing a giant shirt to cover everything and called it good, walking back downstairs to the small room. I slowly typed the code in before walking in, startled at the sight of the girl holding the pistol pointed through the bottom of her jaw. "Woah!- woah woah, calm down there." I said slowly as I started to slowly walk over to her. She squinted at me. "Don't you fucking try that shit, get any closer and I'll... I'll.." she started to stutter as her grip became tighter, her eyes tearing up as her fingers became more pale than before. Her breath getting more rigid. I stopped moving as she looked into my eyes. "Y-you don't have to do that you know, I could do it for you..." I lowly spoke to her, surprisingly catching her interest. "Why waste one bullet by a bad aim, or- or if you hit the bone, trust me. I'm a professional in that kind of stuff."
She looked confused as her grip started to loosen, the gun lowering to the floor as she questioned me. "What the fuck are you talking about? You, would actually shoot me?" Her arms shakily started to heave up and down as she started to sob, throwing the weapon towards my face. "YOU BITCH!!" She screamed. I winced as it hit my chest then quickly fumbling my hands to catch it, aiming the gun to the wall then shooting. "No I wouldn't, not now at least..." I said before throwing the gun back. "Here, go crazy with it." I go over to where the bullet shot and picked it up from the floor. "I'm keeping the bullets to myself." I placed it into my pocket and leaned against the wall.
