All three of us sprinted downstairs to the food. And let me say, there was quite a selection...
Teriyaki chicken on a stick with pineapple. Steak, potatoes, vegetables -- cooked and raw. Oh my god. And then there was the deserts... Cherry pie, cupcakes, cookies.
"And we have ice cream in the freezer." Abi said.
"Mint Chocolate chip?" Amy asked.
"What other type would we have?" Abi replied sassily. These girls seem to have an enormous amount of sarcasm and sassiness in their relationship.
We all got plates and dug in. And may I say, the foor was positively delicious.
I ate more than I have in a long time. After that we went our back where all the adults were, and there was a bonfire. All three of us went to sit on the hammock. We swung it really quickly and pretended it was a boat. (I've done that b4 it's LOADS of fun I'm not even kidding)
Then Joy said it was time to go home. I was sad but she told me that I would see Abi and maybe Amy again sometime soon. We all hugged and then Cal, me, and Joy got in the car and drove home.
