Chapter 47

Abi POV

I can't believe that Cal hadn't told her yet. I'm going to have to explain more later.

"So you guys are in a band. When can I meet the other members?" Cass asked.

"Tonight at the cookout!!!" Michael said exitedly.

"You are having a cookout?!?" She asked like she couldn't believe it.

"Yep!"

"Awesome!!! So do you guys have any music? You know that you wrote and stuff."

I pulled out my phone, and pulled up my music app. I clicked on SLSP because it is their biggest hit.

We worked too damn hard for this just to give it up now

I could tell Cass liked it.

"Wow this is really quite good." She said.

"Thanks!" Mike and Cal said at the same time.

"And you call Amy and I weird!" I said.

"Who's Amy?" Cass asked.

"Abi's best friend from the US." Cal said.

"Cool."

"OK so we had you guys meet here because Abi I want you to help Cass shop! All I want to do is pay!" Calum said.

I nodded to say 'sure!'

"OMG that would be awesome. I don't have the bestest fashion sense. It would be awesome for Abi to help me!!" Cass said happily.

We got up and cleared our food away.

"Ok let's hit Abercrombie first!" I said, "What type of clothing do you like? What do you think your style is?" I then asked.

"Umm... I like color, I like it a lot. I've spent too long in gray uniforms. But I think I like the occasional darker clothing." she replied.

Perfect.

That's all I needed, I made my way to Abercrombie. She followed behind me while the guys sat.

I grabbed a ton of stuff.

"So we will have to go shopping again when it gets warmer. We are getting to winter so all this is is warmer stuff. I'll take you for lighter outfits when the time comes." I told her.

"Thanks!!" she said happily.

I took her to a dressing room and handed her the pile of light wash jeans, and cute shirts.

She put on a pair of high waisted jeans and a floral long-sleeved crop top.

They fit her perfectly!

She tried on a ton of things and by then Cal and Mike had come over to see.

She got a thumbs up on everything.

"Pssst.." michael said poking my side.

"Yeah?" I replied

"Go look for some stuff for you, we are at the mall! I know you can barely resist shopping."

I thanked him and went to look.

I ended up with some dark wash jeans, a black knit crop top sweater, and a new jumper.

By then Cass was done trying on so we checked out.

Cal carried Cass's bags and Michael carried my single bag.

Then we went to Hollister.

The same thing happened. She got girly bright colored things, and I got some darker punk looking items.

Then we went to Forever 21, she got some dresses, skater skirts, and other bright colored things. I helped her pick out a nice bathing suit.

I got a bikini, the top was black and white horizontal stripes, and the bottoms were black. I was quite happy with it. I also got a pair of pants that I had been searching for, black and white vertical striped. (No seriously, I have been searching for a pair of pants like that)

We went to a few other stores, then we were given some cash to go get 'girly items'. The boys were so dramatic about it.

Then we went to Spencers and Hot Topic. Cass seemed a bit nervous in the stores.

"Hey Cass whats wrong?" I asked.

"Um... These stores are a bit... Creepy. All this black and stuff."

"Haha yeah, I guess for a bright colored person like you they would be. Don't worry we'll be done soon. Have you looked at the beanies and snapbacks?" I asked.

"No..."

"Well why dont you go look?"

"OK"

I went over to Cal, "Hey Cal?"

"Whats up?"

"Cass is nervous in here, said its too much black and stuff. Maybe only take like five more minutes?"

"OK"

I nodded and went to look at the band t-shirts. I ended up not getting any, but I did get a few bracelets.

We checked out there and then we took Cass to get some shoes.

We walked into Journeys because it has the largest variety of shoe brands.

She got a pair of floral vans, a pair of black and white vans, and then she got white and red converse.

She also got a pair of Uggs. I pointed out a pair of prarie boots that I thought she would like because she didnt seem to be the combat boot type. They were brown and had a floral patterned inside. The boys and I each got a new pair of all black converse. They got ankle legnth and I got high-top.

I talked Cass into getting no-show socks. She seemed a bit off put by the fact it looks like you aren't wearing socks until I explained its the style.

"Is that all you guys need?" Calum asked.

"Yep unless Cass wears makeup."

"I don't."

"Perfect! Leggo!!!" Calum exclaimed.

We walked out to the parking lot.

"See ya tonight!" I said to Cass.

"Yep!"

Cal and Mikey said bye and we walked back to our cars.

"Successful shopping trip?" Mike asked.

"Yep, very." I replied.

Then I turned on the radio and we made our way home.
