Chapter 22

Finally 4th pd rolled around Math.

I walked to the class and said hi to mrs. Alexander.

"I've missed you sweetie. It's a second day on the lesson so I want you to talk to Amy. I'm going to exempt her from the worksheet. she really needs you."

"Oh. okay. I've been hearing that a lot about her that she is really quiet and stuff. which seat is hers?"

She told me which and I sat down in it. then I saw her come in, I put my hair down to cover my face.

"You're in my seat, could you please move." Amy asked quietly. I then moved my hair and stood up.

She dropped her bags.

"Oh my gosh. Abi."

We hugged tightly for what felt like forever. it felt so good to see her again. I started crying. then I felt something wet on my back. she was crying too.

I told her about being exempt from the worksheet. so we went to the corner of the room and sat down.

"I've missed you so much and life has sucked and I have been texting you in band and I'm quiet and nothing is funny and I don't like it. And I missed you so much." she said through tears.

"I've missed you too and I heard about the band thing. you should text me after you know."

"yeah whatever." she smiled.

"Oh abi it's so good to have you back."

We hugged again.

"Um sorry to break up the moment but I kind of want to say hi to Abi too." My friends Kate, and Gemma said.

I got up and hugged them.

"Lunch you have to tell us your adventures." Kate said.

"Yes mother." I said, Amy and I call Kate mom because she is like a mom to us. so responsible.

They walked back to their desks, I decided to go back to band then lunch.

I walked back in, stayed for 10 minutes then walked into the cafeteria. For some reason Michael packed me a lunch instead of lunch money. I looked in the paper bag since none of us had lunch boxes.

A nuttella, marshmallow fluff sandwich, carrots, apple, and two juice boxes.

He knows me too well for a brother.

I sat down at the lunch table we usually sit at. then Amy comes in with her lunch and sits next to me.

Kate and Gemma come and sit then Eliza and Liz.

Once everyone was here I brought out my lunch and began telling my story, from being adopted to Australia, and 5SoS, and Mum, Tour, and 1D.

"Wow"Eliza said.

"Yeah." I said.

We all finished our lunch. bringing up old inside jokes and laughing. it was nice to see everyone smiling.

I went and hung out in band until 6th pd. Science.

I caught Amy and we went in together like old times.

"Oh my Abi it's so nice to see you! Where have you been?" mrs L said.

"I was adopted and I now live in Australia. my brother is in a band and I get to come on tour with them." I whispered to her.

"Well it's great to see you."

"You too"

Amy and I sat down and I brought a chocolate pudding out from behind me along with a spoon.
