Chapter 8

Abi POV

I woke up and yawned wondering where I was, then I remembered I was in the guest room of what it now my home. I put on some socks and made my way down stairs.

Mum was siting at the counter with a coffee and looked up and smiled at me.

"Excited for shopping today?"

"Totally, it's going to be so cool to pick out stuff for my room. are we going to Ikea?"

"Yep!"

"Can we maybe get Swedish meatballs?"

"Of course! I too love Swedish meatballs."

"sweet!" I replied

She told me where the cereal was and the bowls. I got myself a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and a cup of tea. She made herself a bowl of cereal and we ate in silence. It was not awkward though.

I finished my breakfast, put my bowl in the sink and went upstairs to my suitcase. I grabbed some high waisted black skinny jeans with rips in the knees, and a grey 5SoS t-shirt. I put on my rainbow studded belt and my all black knockoff Vans. I grew out of my old name brand pair and didn't have the money to buy new ones because I was in the orphanage.

I skipped down stairs after pulling my phone off charge and sticking it in my back pocket.

Mum came out to the living room wearing blue jeans and a plain grey shirt.

"You dress just like the boys, except with a bit girlier cut of clothing."

"Yeah I'm a tomboy, but at times I'm a girly girl."

"Let's go then!" mum said.

We hopped into the car and drove to ikea. First we walked through the displays. I picked out my furniture and mum wrote down all of the names and numbers of the furniture. then we went and had Swedish meatballs, went down to the warehouse and got all of the furniture.

We loaded it all into the car and mum said "okay next do you want to get paint for your room of go clothes shopping?"

"Let's get paint." I said hoping that she would forget about clothes shopping, she already bought too much for me.

We went to the hardware store and got black paint, white paint, and whiteboard paint.

We checked out. "next stop, the mall" mum said. I internally sighed, I was happy to go the the mall but I didn't want her spending so much on me.

Sadly I forgot about that as soon as we got to the mall. we went into Abercrombie and got high waisted shorts, jeans, a few crop tops, some shirts that say Abercrombie, and a jacket.

Next we went into Hollister. I got some low rise skinny jeans and a few shirts. Then we went to pacsun and got some skirts and dresses. Then Forever 21 for some leggings, skater skirts and a bathing suit.

Then we went into hot topic and I got some graphic t-shirts, I got a nirvanna one, a green day shirt, and some doctor who shirts. I found some stickers and got a few for my phone, iPad, and Mac.

Then I dragged mum into Spencer's, I got some snapbacks, and some beanies.

We went into JC Penny, and Macys, I got a few fleeces there.

Mum took me to the vans store where I got a pair of all black Vans, a pair of white Vans, and black and white Vans. I also got a pair of Galaxy Vans.

Then we went to converse, I got all black, white and red, and black and white converse. two of each, high top and ankle length.

Mum insisted on buying me another pair of combat boots because I had been wearing mine so often that the sole started to wear down.

Then she took me to Victoria Secret ugh. we went in and took about a half an hour getting stuff.

Then laden with all of my stuff she made me go get my nails done. I said she didn't have to but she did. I got black acrylics on my fingers and black toe nail polish, hey! black goes with everything!

Then we loaded everything into the car and went back in to the food court. We got Panda Express and sent michael a picture to make him jelly.

After eating we got in the car and went home.
